Overall, worthy improvements on a great machine

The new bold feature makes better coffee from milder roasts. Overall the coffee is better than my prior model. Otherwise the features and operation are identical. I wish Cuisinart would modify the spout of the pitcher so it doesn't spill so often and so easily while pouring.

Prior to buying the Cuisinart programmable coffeemaker, I was doing all coffee prep manually by hand, grinding beans, using a paper filler, hot water kettle to pour over, etc. After my purchase, the coffee quality dramatically improved due to being much more consistent in measuring the water to coffee bean ratio. Super happy with new coffee maker and recommend to anyone considering uping their coffee enjoyment.

I was a little nervous on how the carafe sat in place, I was afraid of breaking it. After a few uses I felt comfortable and its a great snug fit. Brews coffee perfectly and I will never go back to that other brand.

Good basic coffee maker and a good value. We use a bean grinder right before brewing, and the coffee turns out great. Craft keeps coffee very hot after brewing.
