This is my third coffeemaker from Cuisinart and the only brand I will purchase in the future. I love the way it makes my coffee and that it keeps the coffee hot for 4 hours. I have tried other coffeemakers and none can compare.

Simple coffeemaker for those who don't require a lot of extras. Easy to use, easy to clean, great for those of us who drink only one to two cups of coffee a day.

I would give this coffee pot 4.5 stars. It has a wonderful large carafe for 14 cups. Its attractive and the coffee is easy to program ahead if you want hot coffee the next morning. I dont use the gold filter so the paper fits nicely in its place. The coffee is strong and fresh tasting. The only difficulty is pouring the water into dispenser is a little akward and tends to spill a little. Otherwise I am loving this purchase!

This is the 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker I’ve owned over the last 20 years. They all have been very reliable. I really like this particular model with the glass craft for easy cleanup. Coffee taste great! Love the auto off setting so no concerns of forgetting to turn it off. Recommended

Two factors knocked my review down to 3 out of 5. First, the plastic ring around the top of the carafe collects what you're pouring (coffee when I'm pouring coffee and a combo of soapy water and coffee when I clean the carafe and leave it upside down in the drying rack. So I can't really get it clean. I end up with drips of coffee and soapy water in the carafe when I turn it right-side up. YUCK! Second, it loses the time and programming every time the power flickers (which it does frequently during thunderstorm season). A optional-to-use battery compartment to retain time and programming would be a cheap and easy fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would have given it a full five stars were it not for a minor design flaw. Once you have used the coffeemaker, water condenses on the top, and when you open it, condensate from the outer edges of the top wets the counter, every time. They did build a shelf to catch MOST of the water that runs down the back when you open the lid, but it's not wide enough to catch it all. . Makes good coffee, though, and it's the best one I've found for a while.
