This is our second Cuisinart coffee maker. We find it makes the best coffee. It s easy to clea, programmable and makes 14 cups.

This coffee maker should probably be rated a 3.5 stars, simply because it performs well. The grounds filter cup gets awfully full though and gives you the impression that it is about to spill over, but it hasn't yet (after only 2 months of ownership). I wish that the top cover came off entirely to make it easier to pour water into - it only opens halfway and you have to adjust as you pour out an entire container. The only thing I don't like at all about this model is the carafe; the top doesn't flip up by activation with your thumb, it has to be removed in order to fill it and clean it, which I don't care for. The device is a good size, compact enough to fit anywhere.
