Makes loud slurping sounds while making the coffee. Pot drips water on counter when filling the reservoir. Fluid drips on heater plate when pot is removed. When the coffee is done the beeper could be louder. Coffee tastes fine. Like the 3 choices for how hot the coffee gets. Like the bold option.

We bought our first Cuisinart coffee maker 17 years ago and the caraff broke on us. The coffee maker is still kicking but we decided to purchase a new one. We love our coffee maker. Brews hot, tastes great and stays at one of 3 temps. Also love the easy programming and ease of use. Hope this one last 17+ years too.

We also have a Cuisinart k-cup brewer, but wanted this 14 cup drip coffee pot for a while. 10 cups are done within 15 minutes and is delicious. Hotplate heat is adjustable. We keep it on low and it's just right. We also turned off the beeps after the coffee is done. Lol, there's so many other beeps already: oven, microwave, toaster oven etc.

This is my second coffee maker from Cuisinart and I have raved so much that my family members in other households have purchased the same product. No more K cups for this house. The cost was not much more than many other makers but the quality is much better.

This is my second unit. That should say something. My first one lasted a long time before it just stopped working. It makes great coffee and is the only 14 cup coffeemaker I could find. The only draw back with my new unit is that no matter how slow or careful you are, it drips a lot of water when you are filling the reservoir. My old one never did that. I saved my old pot so thats the one I am using now. I would buy it again.

The new 14 cup model replaced an old Cuisinart 12 cup model which lasted over 20 years. Decision was made because of quality in a few products I own and how long we had them. Does not take long to brew great coffee and maintains hotness after brewed. So far no complaints.
