the problem is the small finger that holds the filter basket down does not engage the lip above the carafe to hold the basket down hard enough and sometimes will not allow the coffee out of the basket,i'm afraid to try to bend the finger further for fear of snapping it off.the finger on our old 10 cup is bent out further and works fine but it is a different model

After a lot of research I chose the Cuisinart Programmable Coffeemaker and I'm glad I did. I don't drink coffee but I use it for Criobru and it makes a delicious cup. I really like the auto bru and the 4 hour timmer. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Bought this to replace a previous Cuisinart 12 cup model. I love it! It makes great coffee and came with a permanent filter. It is taller than the previous model, in case the height of the machine is important with regard to your counter space.

Great Coffeemaker except, the glass pot leaks when it is poured. The only way to pour the coffee pot is to go to the kitchen so you can wipe up spills. I didn't know this at first and ended up with coffee stains on the floor and on the the tables.
