This purchase was to replace a 10+ year-old 12-cup Cuisinart coffee maker. The feature that this coffee maker has that was not on my old Cuisinart is the water window. I really like that I can see the amount of water from the outside of the coffee maker as I fill it. That feature makes it so much easier to use. The coffee maker’s other feature that I like is the ability to change the temperature of the heating plate. My cup of coffee is always hot and delicious.

I like this model and originally owned an earlier version of this model for many years before it started to leak out the bottom of the machine. I love the features of it--programmable, delayed start, auto-shut off. Its biggest negative is the location of the water reservoir. My coffee maker is under my cabinets, and it is tricky to pour water into the far back righthand corner of the machine even when I pull it out, the lid doesn't fully open for me to easily dump water in. I have come up with a tool for it, but I feel it is a flaw.

We received this as a Christmas gift. We are very happy with it so far. I love the extra large capacity. It is easy to fill and operate. Keeps the coffee very hot even on the medium hotplate setting. The water filter is an added bonus.

I bought this coffee maker because of all of the positive reviews. I like the shower head water dispenser. I like the ability to filter the water. But there are a couple things that really annoy me. First, there’s a ledge in the pitcher that makes it really hard to dump all the water out in the pitcher. It’s especially hard when the top of the coffee maker is in the way. The other part of this that makes it more annoying t is the reservoir has a fairly small opening to fill. Lastly, the pitcher seems to make it almost impossible to pour without making a mess, not sure why but I’ve gotten water and coffee all over by not being as careful as I could be when pouring.
