The heating element is superior to how hot you enjoy your coffee. Also the bold brew option is a great feature.
Customer service is excellent to work with as well. I bought a cheap coffee maker to get me through an issue I had but when I received my replacement machine I remembered how much I loved this coffee maker.

The coffee maker is easy to set up and operate. I particularly like that it’s programmable and there’s a setting for small pot brewing and it makes good tasting coffee. Overall it’s a very good value.

This unit was an identical replacement for our previous Cuisinart. It developed an internal leak that left water all over our counter. It had a good life and served us well, so we didn't need to shop around much. Best unit, comparable price, easily programmable. Coffee greets us each morning. Life is good!

Recently had to replace a previous model of this coffee maker that we'd had and loved for about 10 or so years. So naturally this was our first choice to replace that reliable machine. This new machine has a few updates and improvements but it’s the same basic coffee maker. I will say the brewing process is noisier. When using my same daily morning amount of coffee and water the coffee was too weak. I now press the bold option and problem solved. But why was it weaker? I don’t know - just glad the solution was easy.
