It works fine, but as is the case with many coffee pots, the carafe water level does not exactly match the machine water level, so it’s been a bit of a trial and error to find the right water/coffee combination. I’ll get there eventually.

This is my third generation of this coffeemaker over the last 25 years.This one has the newer (to me) features of the bolder brew and also if you’re brewing 1-4 cups. This one also has a slightly larger pot size which is also helpful when entertaining. Highly recommend.
