This is an excellent coffee maker. This is the second one of this model I have purchased. The last one was still going strong after 8 years. I replaced it because the hot plate was stained badly. I bought the exact same model and I am very happy with it. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed! the “Bold” feature feeds hot water way too fast. “Bold” is supposed to feed water more slowly or intermittently so that more flavor is leached from the coffee grounds. Instead, it feeds so fast that the grounds actually float over the side of the basket. I had a cuisanart before and was very pleased. This one is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
