Awful carafe design, water will spill whenever you try to pour water into the tank at any rate higher than slow. Also, because of its shape, you have to turn the carafe all the way upside down to get the last of the water out. Water almost always pours off the bottom due to the strange design of the spout.

This is my 3rd or 4th coffee maker made by Cuisinart, and I have loved every one of them. This is my second one in this model and am happy they redesigned the heating element at the bottom. The last one began to wear off. My favorite thing about this unit is it has temperature choices and I like my coffee hot, it sure is!!

This is a larger coffee pot than we had before, which was only 12 cups. Much nicer because I am a coffee drinker and the other was just too small. The coffee tastes great and this Cuisinart looks good on the counter too.
