This Cuisinart coffeemaker replaces another from Cuisinart. It's nice to see that it too brews a great cup of coffee. We've had Cuisinart coffeemakers for years and have been very happy with the way they brew coffee, whether ground by us from beans or bought ready to make. Eventually, we'll likely replace this unit with another from Cuisinart.

After going through 2 Braun coffeemakers in 5 years, I had to find a better brand. So far I'm really satisfied with my 14 cup programmable coffeemaker. I'm hoping it lasts. The coffee tastes great, is brewed quickly and I love the tight lid with no drips.

This coffeepot is great. The only small problem we had was that the L M H for the hot plate stayed on high and kind of scorches coffee. Couldn't get the button to change to low so decided to call the company but while looking for the model # etc. we turned the pot on it's side and then the button for hotplate started working! Go figure! My daughter suggested this pot .. we both love it! Thank You Cuisinart!

The carafe is too unwieldy to use for pouring the water in and without the „bold“ button the coffee tastes kind of watery. The carafe lid snaps on very tightly and gives me the feeling that it might become the first thing to break.

Coffee comes out hot and bold... just perfect. HOWEVER, the electric cord is too short. Also, the clock's display box is hard to read at a glance. Why? The blue background should be less bright, more subdued; and the numbers bolder. With my last coffee pot, a Kenmore, I was able to see the time from all angles. Not with this one: you literally have to stand closer to see the time. Hence the 4 stars. I hope Cuisinart would consider these minor yet important issues.
