I like the large capacity and the features, especially the 1- 4 cup brew option and the multiple times for the auto off function. I love that the lid has been redesigned and condensation no longer drips all over the countertop when you open it. I hope this coffee maker lasts as long as my last Cuisinart coffee maker.

I purchased this 14-cup model Cuisinart to replace a prized seven-year-old 12-cup model that had begun leaking during the brew cycle. In all but one respect it is a better coffeemaker than the last -- it is larger and easier to pour water into the reservoir, and there is an external measure of the amount of water in the reservoir, for example -- but that difference impacts the quality of the coffee. On the regular brew cycle, preparing it as before, the coffee seems to me to lack the customary freshness and flavor of the beans I have shipped in for grinding. When I use the new bold button, I generally reduce the quantity of beans to be ground, and the coffee then tastes more flavorful but a bit diluted. If directions for the use of the bold button came with this coffeemaker, I missed them, so I am still a novice at using the machine.

Easy to use and program. Useful features like auto stop when removing carafe before the end of brewing cycle and auto shutoff. I also liked the water level indicator on the side and the ability to change the heating temperature of the carafe after brewing.
