This is the third Cuisinart Coffee Maker for us. Our first one was orange which would be our preference. But orange is no longer offered. When that one went out we purchased another Cuisinart with a coffee grinder. We were not impressed with the grinder, we like our coffee ground fine, it only grounded them course. When that coffee maker went out we purchased our current one. We continued to buy Cuisinart because we like how well it makes our coffee. It give us an option to make it bold and several option on how hot we would like the coffee.

I have had Cuisinart coffee makers for probably the last 20 years and have always loved the coffee they produce. However the last one I purchased just January 2023 has a problem already. I can't adjust the time for coffee maker to remain on. It has for some reason reverted to 2 hours and I can't change it back to 4 hours.

We are now on our third coffee maker of this model. The first one developed a bad leak from the tank, and finally drained the entire tank over night. Luckily, we were suspicious and had placed a cookie sheet underneath so there was no water damage. We bought a replacement and noticed that some of the water we had been finding around and behind the coffee maker was actually condensation from the lid. It was NOT possible to open the lid slowly enough to have the little trough capture the water, and some of the drips came from the corners of the lid, out of the trough's reach. I went online and complained and received a free replacement, reportedly an updated model with the issue resolved. Our free replacement was the exact same model, with the exact same tendencies. We were no better off, but no worse, except having to use the K-Cup machine while we waited for the replacement to arrive (we had to send a photo of the severed power cord as a condition for getting the replacement).
One other little thing; the lid pushes the filter basket down just a bit too far so that the carafe lid catches on the basket valve. It makes putting the carafe back on the warming plate a bit cumbersome.
I'm a fan of the Cuisinart brand, but our next drip coffee maker will likely be made by somebody else.

My coffeemaker worked well and made many delicious cups of coffee when I first purchased it. However, in one year, I have bought 2 carafes due to cracking. Carafes aren't cheap so I have a beautiful coffeemaker that I can't use. I suggest this coffeemaker offer a heavier glass version or a metal carafe. It would be perfect.

Having been a Cuisinart coffee maker owner historically, when our ‘other brand’ started to go downhill we just bought a new Cuisinart. Have always loved them and have found there is really nothing better available. They last forever, make great coffee, and are supported extremely well by Cuisinart. The cone filter makes the best coffee while reducing the ground coffee usage.
