Bought this model to replace an older 12 cup Cuisinart coffee maker that wasn’t brewing very hot anymore. There really isn’t much difference between the 2 products except that the new coffee maker brews a hotter cup of coffee obviously.

Its VERY important after washing out the main basket & putting it back in place that its lined up w/ the notches & pushed ALL the way down or coffee will over flow & half your coffee will be on the counter.

The coffee grounds perk out into the outside of the filter and holder which leaves a mess to clean up after each use. This problem allows coffee grounds to get into the coffee carafe.

This is my third coffee maker. All the same. I love the product just wish the bottom wouldn’t rust. But the coffee is so good, I just get a new one each time.

When pouring coffee, the seal between the pot & lid is not perfect, and coffee drips outside the perimeter of the cup, which results in having to “mop up” after pouring. There was never a problem like this with the previous pot/lid, also a Cuisinart (25+ years old!).
