AI Vision Useless

This is a very nice looking refrigerator but if I was to buy it again, I would have skipped one with AI Vision (i've now turned this off). The photo quality looks like it's from 2000, the resolution is insanely low on them and half the time you can't even tell what it is. This isn't specific to the pictures it takes when you add/remove something which is a whole other issue (I have 8 pictures of milk from all different angles). Back to the camera, even using the Smart Thing App to look at the door storage you can barely tell what you are looking at.
Another issue I have is the dual ice maker. While I appreciate having so much ice, I honestly don't see the point of having 2 sizes of the same type of ice. The larger ice is pretty small to begin with. They should have made the "ice bites" crunchy ice like at some restaurants; extra small ice pellets really serve no purpose.
My last complaint is the auto-open doors which I've also turned off, first of all the doors only open 3/4 of the way and by the time they do open you could have easily just opened them fully by hand. It's also annoying that when you do go to open them by hand the auto-door tends to activate at the same time.
With the above issues out of the way, this refrigerator isn't a total bust. The Beverage center is awesome and love the auto-fill putcher. Also, the amount of space in this frig is crazy.
The AI Home screen is decent and as a Samsung phone/tablet family its fits right in and works well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To maximize its function, refer to page 61 of the user manual for instructions on how to utilize this feature effectively. The ice maker offers you the option to choose between regular ice cubes that melt more slowly and ice bites to chill your drink faster. With regards to the Auto-Open Door function of your fridge, the door opening angle depends on the following: 1) The level of the floor (left to right, front to back) where the refrigerator is installed. 2) The level of the refrigerator. 3) The amount of food stored in the door bins. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for a week now and I absolutely love it. The only thing is the ice maker is kind of slow to making ice. Granted, I use a lot of ice. Just giving it some time and seeing if this is normal or I have to see what’s wrong with it. Pretty cool to have the features on it like the photos of your food, opening the door by touch, and the touch screen. I would’ve liked a bigger screen like the older model they have. Overall, very nice and absolutely love it.

Beverage Center and Dual Ice Maker Rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were skeptical about the performance of the refrigerator from the bad press that Samsung had from previous years but I have to say that so far I am impressed with the design. Our family absolutely loves the beverage center and the dual ice maker on the bottom. We were constantly refilling bottles and had an external ice maker that we have now retired and are happy to regain the counter space. So far after a week it is performing great, we purchased the 5 year warranty to be safe but rest assure dI will come back to this review and update if things change. As of now very happy with it and would totally reccomend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice roomy fridge, I really like the center Flex Zone drawer as it is very handy for items i want to access regularly without having to open the entire fridge. Fridge does have a one touch door whcih is very convenient when you have your hands full. Cools well and has a nice beverage center with a pitcher for water. Dual ice maker offers nugget ice as well as cubed. Oh and the Screen is easy to connect with Bixby - have recipes near by for meal time. Easy to clean. Modern, stylish design to give your kitchen a new look.
