2 machines, 2 months and 2 many beans

This is our second time giving this machine the chance to work appropriately. Two different machines, two months of proper working and then, THERE ARE NEVER THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF BEANS. We have to literally open the flap, do nothing to the beans, press BREW and POOF! it’s working.
I’m done. If GE doesn’t want this machine, I’m going to throw it away. I hope Shark makes a better product.

Disappointing start ..hoped for better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scheduled brewing via the app dos not work. Keeps prompting “loading” instead of “saving” my daily schedule. The grinder stops midway due to “lack of beans”. I turned off the bean sense. The coffee tastes great nevertheless, for a 5 star rating i need all features to work as advertised. Please advise. Thanks

We are glad to assist with the operation of your coffee maker. Always make sure you have enough beans in the bean hooper and water in the water reservoir for your scheduled brew. Please remember to place the mesh basket filter, or standard paper coffee filter in the brew basket the night before, or before the scheduled brew times.
Carefully follow the instructions in the mobile app to program scheduled brews, always making sure you have enough beans in the bean hopper and water in the water reservoir for your scheduled brews ahead of time for up to 7 days.

Average coffee maker

Makes good coffee, but the coffee grounds climb all the way up the sides of the filter and are a mess to clean. The bin that holds the ground coffee is a bit difficult to get out of the coffee maker and the area beneath the bin has coffee stains and bits of ground coffee in it every day that can not be completely cleaned. The setting to have the coffee brewed each morning has to be activated each day - you cannot set it to brew coffee each day, say at 7am, for example. The bin that holds the coffee beans is a bit small and has to be refilled every 2-3 days. I replaced my other brand coffee maker with this one and regret it.
