[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PetSafe SmartDoor Connected Pet Door, Medium is the best thing since sliced bread. I don't know why or how I lived my life without this luxury in my home. My dogs appreciate it as well. I no longer have to open and shut the backdoor 5 million times a day so that my dogs can go potty. Now they can go on their own and I know that it is safe and theif proof!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mixed emotions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed emotions about this product. It feels sturdy and durable, but it was a nightmare to install since I’m not too handy. It seems to be working well, and I appreciate all the included aspects on the App. It does use 4 D batteries, and I was dismayed that you needed to purchase a wall adapter separately. It also comes with only one pet key, so again, that is an additional charge if you have more than one pet like I do.

Great features but not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this out in a wall before committing to putting a hole in the outside of my house. My small dog took to it and the smart features definitely work my concern is more on safety and weather tightness. Cutting a hole into a door is a big commitment. I wish this did something to restore some R value but the plastic door just doesn't seem to be robust enough to keep from causing a weak spot in my building envelope in a cold climate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This solves the problem of safety of a pet door. I love that this is connected to me, and I have the control to open and close it. Our pets love the added access of being able to go outside when we aren't home, and I feel much safer knowing they have to have the collar on to get back in. Great idea! Install requires a bit of work and you do need to train your dogs to go through the door, but once everything is in place and everyone understands it really makes life a whole lot easier!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this and really like it so far. It works great for my dogs. The door installation was not too bad. The lock and unlock mechanism is not too loud and I don't think it would bother cats to use it too. Nice to be able to control who goes in and out, especially when you have your trustworthy and not so trustworthy members of your household

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this PetSafe - SmartDoor Connected Pet Door. I got the medium size for my medium dog and four fat cats who are in and out all day. This makes me feel safe knowing they are the only ones able to get in!
The installation requires someone e who is handy for sure. My husband was able to follow the included video instructions easily but if you aren’t able I would hire someone to help.It comes with One Pet Door Key and you can purchase more separately You control the SmartDoor with the My PetSafe app, where you can remotely control the pet door through your phone. The SmartDoor comes with a Pet Door Key that attaches to your pet’s existing collar, giving them access through the door. The Medium SmartDoor can also pair with microchips, giving cats and small dogs keyless entry! Pets and animals without a key or microchip can’t enter, keeping unwanted visitors out of your home. Know if and when your pet’s come and go thru the door in your obo e! You can continue the lock remotely too. I just love this amazing smart door for my fur babies. .
