[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are easy, nea and the crystals don't get tracked out of the box. The best part about it is there is no smell to it. The crystals dry out the feces and the urine to eliminate the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was extremely easy to setup and use. My biggest issue was getting my cat to trust it but that only took a few days. We just put it in her room with her current box and sat with her a bit so she felt comfortable with it. There may have also been a handful of treats. By day 2, she had gone into the box without us there and within a few days she was using it. Keep in mind that she's an easily scared cat due to past abuse so she can take time warming up to new things. A at without this background may take to it faster. The thing I like most about this one that competitors don't offer is the ability to just rake the litter without looking like your cat may get stuck in there if things go wrong. Your cat is in no way trapper and can easily get out if anything were to ever go wrong. I have it set for 5 minutes after she goes. It seems to cut down on the smell in her room and she's very happy with a clean box. As most know, cats are very picky about their litter. I can't really blame them. We've not taken away her old one which uses clumping litter. She's now using the old for liquids only and this one for solids only. That may seem like a lot but it cut down on the smell in the old box as well. Even with daily cleanings. I also need to point out the counter which tracks how many times your cats has used the box. I'm using this as a guide for wen I need to change out the box. You can reset it as you change it so you don't have to remember where they were. The litter itself seems to last the whole month with minimal smell. Again, I only have 1 cat so keep this in mind. It's made it so that I can use the litter in both boxes for month instead of changing litter weekly which is a big plus. I do clean this when I change the litter but it takes a few minutes for the whole process. I even dump the litter from the other box into this tray, tape it up and throw it all away. It's very easy. This is also a huge help if you need to go out of town. Right after I got this, I got the call that my grandmother was on her death bed (very aggressive cancer). She lived about 6 hours away so just going over wasn't easy to plan on such short notice. Especially with a pandemic. Thanks to a few things, this included, I was able to make the trip. We were able to grant her final wish of being home and with loved ones while she passed. I came home after about a week to no big messes and no added stress. I'm very thankful to have had it while going through that difficult time.

I have had the scoopfree automatic litter boxes for years! I'm not sure if the litter changed over the years, but when I had 2 cats I changed the litter far less often. It has been a year and a half since I have only had one cat and i am now having to change the litter tray every 3 days because it is disgusting. When I first purchased the system I could go a month without changing the trays. I use to rave about this litter system, but lately have had nothing good to say about the litter unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this litter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Petsafe ScoopFree self cleaning litter system and so do my two kitties! It is truly a step above using a plain old litter box.
I’ve tried both the blue litter crystals and the lavender scent ones in our system. Both my husband and I notice odor from the litter box is less when using the blue crystal trays compared to using the lavender ones. With 2 active cats who play and eat and drink a lot we change the box about once a week. The crystals are much better absorbing waste than plain old litter plus they make no dust and mess. I will never again go back to using a regular box or regular litter again.

ScoopFree Replacement Litter Trays

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ScoopFree Premium Blue Crystals Litter Tray is easy to use. You empty the blue crystals into the cardboard tray and shake the tray to get the crystals even. The crystals absorbs the cat urine fast and it dries out the waste. Each tray last me about 3 weeks before I change it out.. when you are done with a tray you just put a lid on the tray and throw it away without having to scoop up anything.
I would recommend this to a friend!
