Did not absorb the smell at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These state they can be changed every 30 days, however for us it is more like 2 weeks and we have just one cat. The smell lingers, but I gave it two stars since it is easy to clean, just not worth the money

Please know that the issue you have described is extremely unusual, as odor control is one of the features customers typically love most about the ScoopFree. That said though, there are several factors that can contribute to how well the crystals absorb including your cat's diet, age, and weight, as well as any additional environmental factors around the box.
Please ensure that the litter box and trays are not stored inside an area of high moisture or humidity such as a laundry room, bathroom, kitchen, etc. The crystals are very similar to the material used in baby diapers and their sole purpose is to absorb moisture and odor from both urine and feces. If the litter box has been placed in any of the before-mentioned areas, these places tend to have higher humidity than the rest of the home, which can significantly reduce the overall efficacy of the tray since the crystals are being used up more quickly as they absorb the moisture in the air. It would be important to relocate the box to a different place and ensure it is well-ventilated.
If your little box is not placed in one of these areas or you continue to notice atypical results for your litter trays, please feel free to reach out to us directly at 1-866-738-4379 for further assistance.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked these trays very much. They were easy to set up with the litter, although it was very small, so it's really made for a small cat/kitten to use that doesn't make very much waste at a time.
The litter was very absorbent and smelled so good! My cat didn't mind the scented litter either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blue crystal litter trays are amazing. They are easy to open and slide in to the litter box. There is not really a scent that I have noticed. I really like that you don't see anything gross and, your hands stay clean when changing the litter box. You always don't spill or get dust everywhere when changing the litter.

Magic crystals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these trays. You literally can’t get more convenient for this when it comes to litter. I sit a tray down and place the unit on top of the tray. After 1 month (I have one cat) I pick the unit up, lift the tray up, and toss it in the trash. Simple. I won’t be able to go back to scooping litter—ever again. I didn’t realize what a luxury this was until I got to try it. Now there isn’t any going back. This is high quality crystals—I’ve used others before and even after a month of heavy use for one cat there is still no odor—which is shocking to me. I have nothing but good things to say. I will keep using these. Never ever goi g back to clumping litter or any other kind of litter again. Love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crystal litter continuously removes odors - If you change regularly, it does prevent odors. It lasts for weeks with no scooping, cleaning, or refilling. It locks away solid waste and odor so you never touch or see smelly waste. It's as easy as it looks to change this thing without getting dirty. It's completely disposable leak-proof tray with lid for a quick, hygienic cleanup.Crystals also do not stick to your cats feet great for less tracking throughout your home.

Each Tray Lasts a Month! Makes Kitty Care MUCH Easier.

It absorbs fluid well, and there is very little scent (which amazes me after years of trying to mask the smell of litter boxes). I have two cats, and one tray lasts for a full month for us (before the storage compartment for solid wastes fills-up). The cardboard of the tray is durable, and I have not had any issues with leakage (especially since the crystals are absorbent). The lid makes it all quick and easy to dispose. I appreciate that they offer a pack of three so that I have replacements on hand for three months. These crystal litter trays combined with the Scoopfree system have truly made life easier for me and my two cats. They no-longer have issues with sharing a box (so I no longer have to clean-up messes), and instead of scooping two litter boxes twice a day, I now only have to switch-out a single tray once a month. I am very happy with this product (and so are my cats).
