No hassle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter box is amazing !!! At first I didn't think it would work for us all that well but dang was I wrong !! Once a month I just take the tray out And toss it and insert another new tray that's all you gotta do!!absolutely no scooping or anything. The noise is minimal also and my cat got used to it by day 2 .

Fantastic for ease, but is it worth the cost?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised. I’m a vet student and behavioralist have taught us that electric scooping litter boxes are typically bad. That being said, my cats don’t seem to mind at all. I have two cats and typically scoop my litter boxes twice daily, so it’s nice to not have to worry about scooping this one. It’s also pretty neat that there is a phone app. My only complaint is that I go through the refill litter trays faster than I would a large box of litter, and based on cost alone I would save more money just sticking with my standard litter. I saw there are reusable trays and bags of litter, so I may look into doing this instead of the disposable trays. I may also purchase the privacy cover as well to prevent tracking.

No mess! No smell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ScoopFree Self-cleaning litter box is AMAZING! The litter absorbs urine with no smell and the auto rake scoops #2 out of sight (and smell). Now...if I could only convince all my cats to use it. They're 7 and 15 and have hesitant to switch. I even tried putting a bit of the litter in their existing box. Might be better from the start with a kitten, but I'm going to keep trying!

Thank you for sharing this review with us! It's definitely still possible for your kitties to switch to this new box. We would recommend mixing a bit of their old litter in with the crystal, and a bit of crystal in their old box. Though you have already tried a bit of mixing, it may help to do this for a bit longer, and gradually increase the amounts. This mingles the scents and textures, and often helps unsure cats accept the new litter.

Easy to set-up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter box seems ideal. Unfortunately, I was unable to get my cat to utilize it. It is easy to set-up and has a great app to remind you when to change out the litter and the tray. It is very quiet when it rakes through the litter box! I will continue to encourage my cat to utilize it!

If you have not already done so, we would recommend mixing a bit of your cat's previous litter in with the crystal, and a bit of crystal in your cat's prior box. This will help mingle the scents and textures, and will help most cats adjust to the new litter, though so may take longer to adjust than others.

Overall OK, not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are still hesitant to use a week in. I don’t think they like the feel of the Crystal litter because they will barely step into the box. I love that it rakes automatically, I am sold on that part of the system but we will have to experiment with alternative litters and maybe a stainless steel bottom instead of disposable

Though there are no other compatible litters with this box beyond our crystal and natural litter, it's very likely your cats will adjust to this litter with a few acclimation steps. For cats that are unsure, we recommend mixing a bit of their prior litter in with the crystal, and a bit of crystal in their old box. This helps mingle the scents and textures, and will help them adjust to accepting crystal as their new litter.
Though there is not a stainless steel tray option, we do absolutely have a reusable tray option; this can be seen here-

Obsessed

The odor control is great with the crystals, the rake part that scoops the solids seems to be very effective and I’m obsessed with low low maintenance this is. 10/10

Say goodbye to cat box odor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter box is absolutely life changing. I have 1 cat who is a senior and this is absolutely perfect for him. It has held up well, I can’t hear it at all, I don’t have to clean a gross cat box anymore AND the smell is gone!! You wouldn’t even know I had a cat. I will say I’m not sure how it would hold up in a multiple cat household but for our needs it is perfect.

Efficient and Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My finicky cat initially hesitated with the PetSafe ScoopFree Self-Cleaning Litter Box, but she started using it a few hours after setup. It is reliable and a affordable option that features an automatic scooping comb and cleaning cycle that begins 20 minutes after your cat uses it. It is quiet and contains litter.
