It automatically spins to separate waste into a sealed bin, which keeps smells way more controlled than a regular litter box. The design is really sleek, and most cats seem to adjust to it quickly.
One of the best features is the app. It tracks your cat’s weight and how often they use the box, which is super helpful for catching any health changes early. The automatic cleaning also keeps the litter fresh, so you don’t have to constantly refill or stir it.

We purchased the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box a little over a month ago. Overall, it works fine. We really like the ability to monitor it and its usage through our phone. We have two cats; one is almost two years old, and the other is three months old. Because of this, we have to leave it on manual for now.
The only issue we've had is that the litter gets caught up in the gear assembly, causing it to jam. We believe the gear needs to be relocated to prevent contact with the litter. If not for this gear issue, we would have given it a five-star rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great investment

Good but I prefer my existing box

To be honest, I already have another branded auto litter, but I did want to see how this one worked in case it’s better and because I needed a second litter box for the upstairs of my house. It’s just OK, I think I definitely like my other brand litter box better, but this is not too bad for the price you pay. My issues are that it doesn’t hide the smell very well, and I could see issues with fluids leaking if your cat is not a particularly good aimer. It was easy to clean, however, and I am still figuring out what litter works best for this. I think if this is your first litter box, you will like it, but if you’ve used others that cost more, you will have higher expectations.

A game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this new self cleaning litter box. It's so nice to not have to scoop the litter everyday. And it's so easy to just have to change the trash bag. I will say that it was a little bit of a challenge putting it together, but that may have just been me. I like that you can use your favorite litter and don't have to use a specific type. I personally use litter that comes in a box, so it's a slight drawback that the opening is not big enough to get the box in to refill the litter box. The corresponding app makes it easy to monitor the litter box without physically looking at the box. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that has the cat.

Functional self cleaning litter box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a good litter box! The installation was super quick and easy! If all the screws are tight and inserted the way it’s supposed to go, you’ll have no issues. Their poop/pee gets clumped and dumped in the container they gave you to put under the litter box. It comes with a nice deodorizer so it won’t smell bad. It is small/ “weightless” cat friendly. 2/3 of my cats use it since my other boy is a bit overweight and doesn’t fit too well. I have been having a bit issues with WiFi so getting the app to work is a bit of a struggle rn. Removed the stars due to the app and size for my overweight cat. Other than that, amazing self cleaning litter box!

Smart scooping and easy cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design and the outlook. It looks so elegant with the combination of the white box and the little wooden legs.
It saves time for cleaning and keeps my house fresh although I have an indoor cat(especially when I am out for travelling). I wish the box could be bigger so there are more space for my cat (guess she is a big one).
In addition, I want the app could let me know when the amount of litter is too much or too less. But I think it is worth to spend if you have indoor cats.

Must have for cat owners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box! It took my cats a couple days to get used to it, but now they love it! It feels more safe than other automatic cleaning litter boxes. Mine is sets to not clean until a cat hasn't been inside for 2 minutes. It does a wonderful job of cleaning. I love that it has an app that I can connect to and track how frequently my cats use the litter box, when it needs emptied, and when I need to add a new deodorizer. It definitely keeps my house smelling nicer than your average litter box. It's really easy to clean, disassemble, and reassemble. Overall, I am very pleased and think it is definitely worth the money!
