Absolutely love this product!

This self-cleaning litter box keeps our home fresh, saving me time and effort. The hands-free, app-controlled convenience means I don’t have to worry about scooping for up to two weeks! Oona adjusted quickly to it, and I’ve noticed how much more relaxed she is with a consistently clean space. Highly recommend it for any cat parent looking for an easy, efficient solution!

Still high maintenance for a litter box

Having an automatic litter box is a game changer, however there are some kinks with this one that make me unable to give 5 stars. My two cats started using it within days, so no complaints there but I'm not sure if I received a faulty one or not. Small litter clumps leak out the left side into the cover, so I'm constantly having to remove it and clean it. And sometimes clumps don't sift out and get stuck cycle after cycle. There's also been a few instances of the clear sifter tray thing not closing properly after the cycle and I have to manually push it to snap back.
I've taken it apart and rebuilt it and still the same issues.
It gets dirty quite quickly so l've been vacuuming / picking up clumps that leak, and wiping down the walls and outside with clorox wipes. So it takes some of the work out of a normal litter box, but it's still a pretty high maintenance one to upkeep especially since mine isn't seeming to seal / hold in the clumps properly.

We have had our unit for almost 3 months and I enjoyed not scooping everyday. My cat got used to it immediately. The past couple days it became louder when cleaning and a good portion of litter is getting dumped into bin. I took whole unit apart and cleaned it and it has continued making noise.

This product is a lifesaver!

I also love the cool features of the Health App it comes with like useful notifications such as my cat’s weight whoever she uses the litter or if the waste bin is cold to being full.

Like the design

This liter box I bought as a gift for my husband who is the litter box master! But he is old school but we kept it any way. I like it. Assembled, it looks great and seems to work although my cats are still just curious and watch it like a tv! LOL. They’ll get used to it.
The down side is I still haven’t got it connected to wi-if, like I need yet another gadget to monitor, but we’ll see if I can get it working.
The second thing, and probably the worst thing for my household is the beeping notifications. This feature is very upsetting to the dog. Like torture. And to be honest more appliances these days have this horrible beeping on their products. TV, to toaster, all beeping. So this was annoying and wish it could be disabled and thought of when it was designed. Seriously, no on ever thought about the other animals in a household? Dogs have a different sense of hearing than humans and are very sensitive. I wish I would have known but we will end up putting it in the garage for use out there. Please consider the tone of the beeping in future products so they don’t cause the dog to go running from the noise pain.
Other than that I like the product.

Constant connectivity/app issues

For the price, it still might be worth buying anyway but you shouldn't expect much from the app. Would not stay connected to my network that I have many other smart devices on including Tuya hardware which it seems to use. I spun up a network just for this 1 device and while the app has stopped saying that it is constantly disconnected, the app does not let me access its settings and also thinks its mid cleaning cycle for a while now, when it is certainly not. It also is not properly logging visits from the cats. Clearing cache and rediscovering the unit did not help

No more scooping for me!

I have used the ScoopFree SmartSpin Litter Box for over a week now and absolutely love it! The design is really nice and sleek and when it rotates to dump everything it’s quiet which is really nice. My favorite thing about it is that I can use the same litter I have used for the past few years so my 14 year old cat Fluffy switched it seamlessly!
