Sleek litter box that self cleans when it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Petsafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self Cleaning litter box is an upgrade from manual litter box cleaning. The litter box has a nice sleek design that doesn't look like an eyesore in your house. It was easy to build and connect to my wifi to manage the box from the Petsafe application. My. 2 cats were wary of using this new box at first but did try it. One even liked just sitting in it. The litterbox comes with 2 deodorizers, gloves, and lots of litter trash bags. My issue with the litterbox was how it frequently disconnects from the app. I had issues with the box cleaning and connecting with the app to show my cats used it. Every time i had to pull the power plug and reset it. Unless I just got a bad one I think there are some software issues to be addressed. Otherwise it is an acceptable box.

Quiet and smart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cool litter box! It somehow knows what litter is soiled and it separates it and keeps the remaining clean litter. It's very quiet and did not scare my kitten at all after her first use. So so awesome.

Sifts the poop for you, yay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying how excited we were to be chosen to participate in trying PetSafes ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box. It is such a phenomenal pet product, It is not only innovative, it is something that would normally be a little bit extravagant in price for me and I can’t say that I would be willing to spend so much money on my cat so to say that I was thrilled and happy to receive a self cleaning litter box would be an understatement .
Not having to scoop out cat poop is awesome, i’m never going to complain about not having to do that every day so having it being done FOR me mechanically is beyond wonderful!
Unfortunately I have to point out something’s that I wasn’t expecting and I have to be honest because I always look at reviews when I am going to purchase an Item and that rings especially true when it’s an item that is more on the higher side in regards to price, so I have to tell the truth.
First and foremost figuring out how to even operate it has not been easy. So I figured consulting the users instruction manual is usually the next route and that usually helps me to figure out every step on how to use something. But I am sorry to say that was not the case in regards to PetSafes ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box . The users manual didn’t help explain much at all. Next I consulted the website and still it didn’t help because the Item that I had was not on their website yet. It may have been because it was a new item because I checked their website today and it is now included on their site.
Next problem is that the buttons on the cat box are not really obvious or self explanatory just looking at them I wasn’t able to know for sure what to press because in regards to a litter box they don’t make a whole lot of sense; a button that looks like a play button on a DVD remote control I didn’t know exactly what pressing that button would do. when you want to just be able to look at it and press the button and have it do what you need it to do. I provided a photo so you can see what I’m describing.
I finally kind of just messed with things , guessed , pressed buttons and crossed my fingers and I finally kind of got it operating and sifting the poop.
So to summarize my opinion on the PetsSafe Self-Cleaning Litter Box. It is a wonderful, and convenient item to have. I love not having. to scoop cat poop every day since it sifts it for you after every use. My complaint is that it isn’t very user friendly and the manual isn’t as helpful as it could be and it’s not easy to figure out because the buttons aren’t what I would consider to be litter box descriptions. But it works great when you do figure out how to use it and I love not having to clean the box every time my cat goes and that’s wonderful especially for someone who’s cat will not go in a box that has poop in it because there are some cats that will opt to go elsewhere if their box isn’t clean.

Instructions and Manual need to be revised

I want to start by saying I was very excited to use such a phenomenal pet product. It is so innovative and not having to scoop poop every time my cat goes makes my life so much easier.. But I have to be honest since I always look at reviews when I am going to purchase an Item and that rings especially true when it’s an item that is more on the higher side in regards to price. figuring out how to operate it was not easy . But the users manual didn’t help explain enough it wasn’t as informative as it could have been . I finally just kind of just messed with things , guessed , pressed buttons and crossed my fingers and I finally kind of got it operating and sifting . It works fabulously when you figure out how to use it but the instruction manual could use some revising
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Nice Design - Works As Advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this is really quite lovely given that it’s a litter box. It works really well. My only issue with it is that it’s so tall. The hole for the cats to get into is pretty high off the ground so it’s a big jump for the cats to get into it. I’ve had it set up for a little over 2 weeks and it’s only been used twice.

Easy to set up and easy to use

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The litterbox was relatively easy to assemble and came with a lot more features than expected. It’s also quite and easy to use. My cat is still a little hesitant of it (what cat isn’t of new things) but we’ve been trying the provided recommended tips for an easier transition and are hoping she soon feels comfortable enough to use it regularly. But so far it’s great!

Love! but could be better

I got mine from my local pet store. Putting it together was terrible but did take some time as you have to put each part together. It did take a few days to get my cats fully used it. I’m glad I no longer have to scoop. I have noticed my arm and hammer clumping litter does stick when they pee. And if it turns to clean before the clumps harden it drags and leaves marks over the top. I do wish that they make steps you can attach to the system as my bigger cat does have issues getting up and in sometimes. I feel the app also needs more work as it froze for a whole day and did not update at all.but over all I am happy with my cats new box. I don’t have to scoop anymore and they get fresh litter each time they use it. I have yet to do a full clean but I’m hoping it won’t be too terrible.
I would recommend this to a friend!
