Safe to say my cat loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see from the pic, my cat loves this fountain enough to use it as a pillow! I LOVE that this is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. No tiny little parts to get all grimed up. The light is a nice touch such it's visible at all times. The light blinks to let you know when water is low. Instructions were very clear and it was super easy to assemble. Nice capacity, i think it's perfect for cats, though this size would be a bit small for dogs. Only downside for cats is it is a bit loud- not the machine itself but the water movement, which may scare off skittish cats at first. I like that pet has choice to drink from spout or from a little pool of water. The plastic guard that allows the water to pool also keeps from leaving the whole well open so the water stays clean longer. I love that the filter has a tab so it is easy to remove and put back! Im really pleased with this product!

visually pleasing water bowl!

Easy Setup, But Not for Every Pup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PetSafe Outlast Water Fountain was super easy to assemble, and the trickling sound of the water is noticeable but not overly loud—actually kind of soothing. Unfortunately, my elderly dog wasn’t interested in using it at all. I guess the old saying is true: you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. It’s a great concept and seems well-made, just didn’t work for our situation.

Pet water bowl

Good for cats and dogs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing. Initially I thought it was only for cats but I have two dogs and this works amazing for them. Its not too high and not too low for them and can be moved from one room to another. It seems sturdy and wasn't too expensive.

Great product

Pump-less easy to clean water fountain

I’ve always wanted to try a water fountain but was worried my cat wouldn’t like it. This water fountain is unique because it doesn’t have a pump. One great thing about this fountain is that the parts are dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning so easy. But I find hand washing is also easy. There are no annoying crevices to clean, like some other fountains have. When I first opened the box I was overwhelmed by the different parts but it was so easy to assemble, even without the instructions I intuitively knew how to put it together.
I figured my cat would be confused because he’s never seen a water fountain before. So I thought I would place it and let him explore, while still keeping his water bowl nearby. He came to it immediately. He was a little scared of it at first, he wouldn’t go near it. But eventually he did approach and take a few licks initially. He realized it was water and it doesn’t bother now him a few weeks after use.
The water lasts for ages, and my cat enjoys drinking water (it’s 60oz). One thing to note, it is noisy, not excessively but it’s like a water fountain sound. So if you have a small apartment you will hear it constantly. I liked the light feature, so if you wake up in the dark you don’t bump into it. I think if you have multiple cats, they can also drink out of it at the same time which is nice.

HORRIBLE

This was an awful experience. This fountain completely stopped working after 3 weeks. It is loud and the LES light broke. It now constantly flashes blue. It now does not circulate any water, the blue light just flashes. This is a terrible product. DO NOT buy it - waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
