This pen is worse than my finger

I don't need a pen to write on the screen. I have a finger. Put Bluetooth back and the pen will be more useful than my finger.

A cool feature is that the S Pen to text allows you to write directly in search fields, address bars, and other areas that support text input. Needs Bluetooth back.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Not having Bluetooth on the S Pen anymore is ridiculous. I should have stuck with my S23 Ultra longer. Unfortunately I already have the S25 Ultra in hand.
Using it for pictures and controlling my media was awesome. I didn't use it for much else to be honest. I would take notes if I needed to from time to time but that's it. So going forward there is even less of a need to use my stylus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why did you had to remove bluetooth

One of the most innovative piece of tech made completely useless and irrelevant after removing bluetooth, it used to have many useful features with the bluetooth inbuilt but now it just remains a useless stick of stylus.

I just packed what I've been waiting for,to returned. Did not know the pen is not what I used to until start using it. One more thing,first thing I took the pen out is to remotely taking pictures. FYI. When there's not, so it's useless.

No Bluetooth incorporated on pen on S25 Ultra. A feature I've used on at least a weekly basis. I had no idea Samsung was eliminating this feature.

Samsung has lost their way

Those of us who are old enough can remember the days that Samsung was just a crappy third-rate company of pretty poor products. However they really made a turnaround and became a first class company making the best products. They really listened to what their customers wanted and delivered with innovative well made products. The S25 Ultra S Pen is a clear sign they have lost their way, It's as if these devices are all broken- no Bluetooth enabled functions what-so-ever. Their latest products are not only lacking in new innovation, they are taking away old basic features. It's a shame that great companies always seem to inevitably peak and decline. I guess that makes room for the next company who will really care about making great products.

You can create a note by starting a new note in the Samsung Notes app. Screen write or draw directly on the screen. These are just a couple of options. Features of the S Pen didn't go away. Not good for remote shutter

I recently purchased the new S25 Ultra and was excited to use the new camera features since I was upgrading from the Note 9. I did not know that the new phones do not include the feature to do remote shutter on the S pen which was a big pro for me. I having a family and traveling a lot would use the remote shutter to take pictures of the whole family instead of having strangers take our picture or using a self stick. I would expect since we are paying more we would get more not the other way around.

If you like taking remote photos with your phone or capturing video, it can be done simply with a voice command. Within your camera's Settings on your phone, you can enable the voice command option; you can take pictures or record videos using preset commands. Use voice commands like "capture," "smile," "cheese," or "take a photo" to capture that perfect moment. If you take a selfie, you can raise your palm to take the shot.
