Lost Remote Shutter in S25 Ultra S Pen
on April 29, 2025
Posted by: Clarica
I was excited to upgrade from my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to the new S25 Ultra, only to discover that the S Pen no longer supports Bluetooth.
This means I can't use it as a remote shutter for the camera anymore – one of my favorite features. The previous model had full remote control, which is now gone.
Very disappointed. If I had known this, I might have reconsidered the upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Such a disappointment
on April 27, 2025

As everyone else here, I also would not have 'upgraded' to the s25 ultra knowing the S Pen wasn't bluetooth. I tried for a long time trying to figure out why the camera wouldn't take a picture by clicking the button on the S Pen. So, anyone want to buy a s25 ultra? I have one for sale...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You dropped a key feature! Bluetooth S-Pen is key.
on April 8, 2025
Posted by: Abi Tolu
If I new the bluetooth on the s-pen was not present in the S25 ultra, I would not have upgraded from my s 24 ultra. This is a key feature and I hope Samsung can and will rectify and redress this. I am will like to pay extra for a bluetooth replacement pen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Eliminating Bluetooth - devastating to power users
on April 10, 2025

My loyalty to Samsung dates back to the Note 3 era, when Samsung was revolutionary and set trends with its large screen—far surpassing what others had to offer. Features like expandable storage and a removable battery made the Note series a true powerhouse. Samsung consistently delivered groundbreaking innovations, including MST and IR blasters, introducing functionality we didn't even know we needed.
Over the years, while we reluctantly adjusted to the removal of certain features, one change feels like a step too far: eliminating Bluetooth S-Pen support. I understand you may be prioritizing MagSafe integration, which could impact S-Pen functionality, or perhaps aiming for increased battery capacity by phasing out the S-Pen entirely. However, given the choice, loyal users would overwhelmingly favor a fully functional S-Pen above all else. The comments and feedback from your community reflect this sentiment clearly—please listen to us.

Cheap, bad, no Bluetooth.

No Bluetooth. Honestly, it was one of the main reasons I've always gotten this phone series. Didn't know this feature was taken away when I decided to upgrade. Should have just stayed with my 22.

Hiya Apiboppi,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen. The Bluetooth is a significant change, especially for users familiar with this feature from previous models. Although the S Pen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra differs in terms of its use, its functionality and integration into the device provide a unique experience. Now, features can also be activated via voice commands you could once do with your S Pen. Your insights highlight users' passion for their devices and offer valuable input for future enhancements to the S Pen experience. Thank you for your feedback; we appreciate you as an essential part of the Samsung community.

Terrible product, engineer team add bluetooth
on May 25, 2025
Posted by: Samsung fan
This product is complete dodo. I hate it!!! what was the point to even add the spen at all to the s25 ultra??? Air function was so cool and fun to play with and you stole it from us. We want it back samsung. Who cares if 1% of the people used the function at least it was there and was paid for. The sad thing is and was is that we paid just as much if not more for the s25 over the s24 and the s24 had the bluetooth functionality. Im upset with this product, its an over priced useless piece of plastic. I would gladly give mine away to someone so they don't waste they money. This falls under the most useless tool for your phone no need to have.
