Like the other revies, should have kept bluetooth functions. S25 upgrades are fine but not a good enough reason to downgrade s-pen. Would have kept older model if I had caught that information in time.

I used my pen daily for work. Recently I upgraded so I thought from a note 9 to the s25. So much regret to be frank I dont even want it. The excitement of a new device is gone, and I haven't even had this thing for a month yet! By far the worse stylus samsung has ever put out. Had a problem with calibration. Spoke with samsungs support group to resolve issue. On the previous models we could manually calibrate the s pen. Nope not anymore. I was directed to re insert the pen and extract it so that it may self calibrate. I wish I were kidding. I have to perform this task multiple times every use of this tool. Such a pain. Never again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Went to use my spen on my new s25 ultra to take a picture, and how embarrassing it did not work anymore for this function. The spen is pretty much useless now to me

OFFER A BLUETOOTH S PEN FOR S25 ALREADY!

Bought this phone for my daughter and was so excited to show her how she can use her s pen to take selfies without having to hold the phone in some weird way to press the on-screen shutter. I was disappointed to find out that Bluetooth functionality had been removed to save money. Since the pen costs the same as it always has, the savings go right to Samsung. So very disappointed. They claim evolution and customer feedback but how is it "evolution" to remove the most popular feature of the S Pen? And if customers really don't like it, they don't have to use it but at least give them the option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While we’re discussing features, have you tried the exciting option to take selfies by simply showing the palm of your hand? It’s a fun way to capture moments! Just swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access the Apps menu, open the Camera app, and tap the Settings icon in the top left corner, or tap the Quick controls icon (the four dots) below the viewfinder. From there, select “Shooting methods” and enable the “Show palm” feature; perfect for capturing those spontaneous family photos!

The no Bluetooth is a horrible step backward. Unfortunately my S22 is broken and I had to settle by buying and S25 ultra. It's a lot of money for a large step down. I see all your replies and honestly they are helping it is just angering us more. Figure out how to replace this down graded pen in the S25 ultra

I must admit seeing your responses to others critiques of the pen leaves me disheartened. Your entire community is very obviously asking you yo step up and bring back the functionality of the pen that was bluetooth in previous generations. I'll be honest if I had been made aware before buying my S25 ultra that you had done away with its ability to take picture and function through bluetooth, I would have chosen a different device when I upgraded. If you choose to respond to my review please do not patronize me by directing me to your tips and tricks page. The pen simply isn't functional and as others have pointed out its a glorified stylus that IS a waste of space. Do better.
