I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro for a while now, and it’s nothing short of amazing. The performance is lightning-fast thanks to the latest processor and generous RAM, and it handles everything from everyday tasks to heavy multitasking with ease. The AMOLED display is stunning — colors are rich, blacks are deep, and it’s a pleasure for both work and entertainment.
Battery life is excellent, lasting me through a full day without needing to recharge, and the lightweight, slim design makes it perfect for travel. I’m switching from a 14” MacBook Pro so I can do software development more easily. I love the feel of the construction.
I’m already up and running with a WSL (windows subsystem for Linux), Docker Desktop, and VSCode environment. Technically you can do this through emulation on a Mac, but this skips a layer of frustration.
Everything about this laptop is premium and brilliant. Best display, keyboard, and trackpad on the market and this baby just hums through all my tasks without making any loud noises or heating up. Kudos Samsung.

Best computer I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro alongside my Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S25 Ultra, and it’s hands-down the best laptop I’ve owned. It’s incredibly fast—apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and it wakes from sleep with zero lag. The AMOLED display is stunning, with vibrant colors and a buttery 120Hz refresh rate that makes everything feel sharp and fluid.
Battery life is excellent—I easily get through a full workday with charge to spare, and fast charging is a big bonus. Galaxy AI has been surprisingly useful: I regularly use the note summarizer and Live Translate in video calls, and both have worked reliably in real-world situations.
What really makes this laptop shine is how effortlessly it integrates into the Samsung ecosystem. I use my Tab S10 Ultra as a second screen with no lag, and the connection to my S25 Ultra lets me drag and drop files, take calls, and reply to texts right from the laptop. Everything just works together, and it’s made my daily workflow faster and more connected. Highly recommended if you’re already in the Galaxy world.

This laptop is almost outstanding. It is thin, light, runs cool, and has great battery life and a great display. The big problem: The touchpad sometimes registers false clicks at the start of a mouse move gesture (simply stroking a finger on the pad to move the mouse pointer). The behavior comes and goes, and sometimes it's aggressive, frequently sending clicks as I just try to move the mouse pointer around. At its worst, the phenomenon renders the laptop too frustrating to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's the perfect fit for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this device because it had almost everything I was looking for. I needed a 10-key, space for 2 separate m.2 drives so I could dual boot, illuminated keyboard, OLED touch screen, and long battery life. I use this for both work and play so the 2 m.2 drives were really important one that boots into my work only platform and once that boots into the personal platform. I'm still trying to figure out the whole Galaxy AI thing but I'll have that figured out in time. The screen is amazing. It handles games way better than I expected. I wish there was an option with at least 64 gb of RAM but 32 GB is getting the job done well so far. You just have to wait longer for memory intensive loads.

I'm a big Samsung fan and this is my second laptop by them. This one I purchased for my daughter who is about to go to college. I did look at other brands of laptops, but none offered the same specs for as good a price. Some other brands were way more expensive. She loves it and I'm happy with another great Samsung product!

My Galaxy Book5 Pro 16" Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 1Tb Gray has stunning graphics, strong performance, and excellent sound. I previously owned a Pro 360 and loved it as well, but this time I decided not to go with a convertible since I have a small child and was worried about damaging the hinge.

My previous model had a 15.6" screen, and I can clearly see the difference — the 16" display feels noticeably larger and more comfortable to work with. I bought my first Samsung Pro 360 in April 2021 and it served me reliably for almost 4 years. Only in January 2025 did the screen crack and the Enter key break — and even then, I think that’s an excellent lifespan for a convertible device.
I truly recommend the Pro series — and I’m grateful to Samsung for offering great promotions that make their products more affordable. I especially appreciate the interest-free financing.
