Disappointing Laptop for Research and Work

I’ve always trusted Samsung and used many of their products, like phones, tablets, and earphones, without any problems. But this laptop has been a big disappointment. I don’t recommend it for medium- to heavy-duty tasks. It freezes, lags, and becomes unresponsive, even when just switching tabs or moving between pages. The battery life is also far shorter than what was advertised. The built-in video camera also seems to have a filter that makes the image look unnatural, which is not ideal for professional use.
As someone working in scientific research, I require a reliable and medium to high-performance device, and unfortunately, this laptop is not a suitable match. It was a bad experience overall. I hope Samsung takes these issues seriously in future models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My favorite update is that I can send any file to my phone easier than before without doing quickshare. My most dislike part is when I accept phone call, it automatically connect to my PC and I have to transfer back to my phone. And the other person i am talking on the phone can't hear me.

The galaxy book 5 pro is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a tab s8 plus for almost 3 years now and for the past months I've been needing a laptop so I decided to take the leap and go for the galaxy book 5 pro. It has been amazing from the start. The weight is something that caught my attention, it is incredibly light coming from a gaming laptop. The screen even coming from the tab s8 plus, which has an amazing screen by the way, is just from another world. The ppi, amoled screen, associated to the anti glare coating is the perfect combination. And finally the ultra 7 series 2 is the cherry on top of the cake to finalize an amazing product, you can use the battery for a full day without needing to reach for an outlet. Considering everything this product is just outstanding in every aspect.

A chore to get started - would have expected a smoother start. Also..there’s Bloatware- for example just 1day antivirus coverage ? Xbox pre-downloaded but essential software is not . Keep getting too many annoying popups - incl from the 1day antivirus software . Aside from those software annoyances, it’s a beautiful screen, and beautiful hardware to go with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
