Way quieter than my central AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using it in my apartment bedroom which use roughly 250 sq ft and gets blasted by afternoon sun. This thing drops the temp from 82 to 72 in under 15 minutes. The dual hose design actually matters in a small space. It isn’t recycling hot air like my old single hose did.
Noise wise, it’s quiet enough to sleep through. Once it hits the set temp the inverter kicks down and it’s just a low hum. I run it on low fan and it was optimum for my room. The heat mode is clutch for winter too, so I didn’t need a separate space heater, I can't wait to try that mode in winters.
The dehumidifier mode is not out any use in Arizona weather and it’s still a chunky unit, so it takes up corner space, but the wheels make it easy to tuck it by the window. The remote is simple and I use the timer so it shuts off after I fall asleep.
For an apartment bedroom, it cools fast, runs quiet, and pulls double duty. It's way quieter than my existing central air conditioning.

The cooling capacity is much lower than indicated.

Do not buy this unit; it is inefficient and fails to cool at the capacity stated by the manufacturer. With the fan set to maximum, the unit continuously draws over 1200W, and this electrical load never drops. The lower fan modes consume less power, but they do not provide cooling at the advertised 12,000 BTU capacity.
The unit does not function correctly in drying mode, as there is no discernible difference between the standard cooling mode (running at low fan speed) and the drying mode—both operate at low fan speeds with low compressor RPMs. Consequently, while power consumption remains under 500W, the unit will never be able to cool a 550-square-foot room, contrary to the specifications listed on the box. Furthermore, the air conditioner is quite noisy at fan levels 2 and 3; the higher the fan speed, the louder the compressor becomes—it is by no means a quiet unit, and it consumes more electricity when operating in high-speed mode. Finally, the "Turbo" mode makes absolutely no difference; it is functionally identical to simply setting the unit to standard cooling mode with the fan speed set to maximum.
This unit does not feature the energy meter they advertise for verifying how many watts the air conditioner consumes.

We would like to clarify some information regarding the sizing of your unit and share the energy guide of this model. This model has a BTU rating of 12,000 and its designed for rooms from 350-450 sq ft. It is critical that the capacity of a room air conditioner be the right size for the room being cooled. An improperly sized air conditioner can result in a cold, clammy environment or an inadequately cooled room. The comfort level in a room is often more a factor of low humidity than low temperature. The best air conditioning!!

The heat pump feature provides year round use, and the WIFI controls are super convenient. This was easy to set up and super durable.
