[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing. We always try to focus on making sure that the picture is bright enough for our living room, and it has not disappointed us! The picture is clear and sharp, and with the surround sound, it's like you're right there. Our previous Samsung, while a great TV, seemed to get darker at certain times of the day, making it extremely difficult to see the picture, but we've had zero issues with the sun/lighting in the room interfering with the contrast of the picture. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

QN990F first impressions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bad news: Power supply fan is loud (louder than my HVAC fan) and NEVER turns off, even after the TV has been off overnight (presumably faulty, needing repair).
The good news: Colors are vivid. Bright images.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Samsung TVs use high-speed switching circuits and advanced power components that may produce a faint humming sound, especially at certain brightness levels. This is a normal characteristic and not a sign of malfunction.

All of our TVs undergo strict quality control procedures to ensure performance and reliability. Please rest assured - the sound you've described is within expected operational behavior, and your TV is safe to use.

Please make sure Daily Board/Now Brief is disabled, as this uses motion detection or voice commands to show useful info like the weather and connected device status when the TV screen is off. To disable Daily Board, press the 123/Quick Settings button on your remote, go to Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Daily Board, then switch off any enabled options.
