Magnificent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are few moments when my jaw unhinged because something stole my breath away. The 55" Class Samsung OLED S85F Vision AI Smart TV, has done just that.
Jaw dropping, crystal clear, high quality imagery that is so astounding objects inside of it look as if you can reach in and touch them. There is almost a dimensional quality here just teetering on 3D like quality and imagery. I was absolutley blown away. Water looked like it was wet, food looked like I could yank it off rhe screen and eat it, and I was seeing textures being delivered that I've never seen on any TV before. Color me impressed!
Samsung has outdone themselves yet again!
I was also truly shocked at how thin and lightweight this unit was. Probably the thinnest TV I have ever had. I do however need to find a wall bracket for this ultra thin TV because standard ones won't work with it.
Beyond that, set up was a breeze. I had this beauty up and running in 10 minutes flat. I also appreciated the new registration feature I've never seen kn any.model TV before. This is to really ensure your TV is safe.
The remote is ahead of the game with solar charging. Never a necessity for batteries.
The sound quality is also beautiful with nice bass.

I have been impressed by Samasungs products before, but man , this TV really has outdone them all.
I couldn't recommend this TV enough. If you're ready to have your mind blown and your eyes widen with amazement, grab this one. You won't regret it for a second.

Stunning display and great HDR performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This S85F OLED is super thin and great building quality, the stand installation is very easy and no tools required. The panel quality is really amazing, color is brilliant and vibrant. Peak brightness is amazing and good for HDR content. The ai image engine works like a charm which upscales legacy resolution video to fit the modern look and make it smoother frame rates. When connected with external devices 2 out of 4 HDMI ports support 120hz which can provide great gaming experience. This panel is Pantone certified which content creators can use this TV as their monitor as well. This version of the Tizen OS runs pretty smoothly but still has the same issues as all other versions- when the TV runs for long periods of time, the UI may slow response for couple seconds. Overall this TV performance super great and really fits my home, love the building quality and panel performance! Highly recommend!

A Sweet and Compact Package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung’s new 4K S85F TV came in a nice little package. The TV includes a sturdy, minimalistic remote designed for ease of use. From unboxing to setup, everything was smooth and hassle free.
The flat space saving design means it doesn’t take up much room, which is a big plus. It has all the apps I love built right in making them easy to launch any time I wish. I set it up as a secondary computer display and it fit right into my setup. Now, I can switch over to my gaming PC and take full advantage of the 120Hz refresh rate which makes fast paced games look buttery smooth. And when I just want to kick back and relax I can fire up my favorite media apps with no effort.
Watching content on the OLED panel is a treat. The colors are rich, and the blacks are deep, way better than my other TVs. If you’re looking for a solid setup without going too big, this one’s a great pick.

Samsung S85F Raises the Bar for Entry-level OLEDs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking to upgrade the bedroom/gaming TV from an 40" LCD to a 55" OLED and was blown away by the S85F.
As the entry level model of Samsung's 2025 line-up I wasn't sure what tradeoffs I would have to make but this TV is a no compromise OLED. Samsung's entry level OLED is better than the mid-tier models from just a few years back.
The brightness is great on HDR content and the contrast and deep blacks you get with an OLED make gaming even better. Very happy to not have to deal with the blooming effect of my LCD TV.
The Q-Symphony works seamlessly with my Samsung soundbar and Frame speaker, adding an extra depth to surround sound movies as well as enhancing the dialogue.
The 120hz HDMI support makes this an ideal gaming TV and the Samsung TV Plus channels offer a good change of pace from the streaming services when you're looking for something to watch.
And with the recent HDR10+ support added to Netflix, this TV is now able to get the best HDR quality from the leading streaming service.
While the solar charging is amazing, I really hope Samsung brings back the dedicated HDMI input button on their remotes.

Upgrade your TV game!

I knew I needed to upgrade my TV to a faster processor to watch all my apps, and this did not disappoint. The operating system is fast and responsive, the remote (which can charge itself with light!) is simple and intuitive, and I haven't even gotten to the picture yet. It takes a little time to set up the picture the first time for the best visuals depending on what you're watching (movies, sports, video games, reality TV). The Motion Xcelerator 120Hz really helped me understand why everyone says you need 120Hz, it makes gaming motion looks crystal clear and helps you see the puck in a hockey game like you were there in person. But once you know what you need to set it to it often feels like I am in the show not watching it. Yet sometimes I still have some trouble finding the right settings for a certain show I am watching, but just by turning on AI mode I can solve that issue immediately. It takes advantage of the NQ4 AI Gen 2 Processor that automatically detects what is on the screen and optimizes settings based on the genre! I can have perfection without having to tinker. If you can add on a Samsung soundbar that syncs with the TV speakers it really feels like a bougie setup with a small spatial footprint, perfect for smaller spaces.

Bright colors and Inky blacks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ready to swap out my old 40-inch LCD for something nicer, and decided on the Samsung S85F OLED—and wow, it’s honestly insane. Setup was a breeze; had it up and running in like 10 minutes tops. It’s ridiculously thin, too—probably the slimmest TV I’ve ever owned. Still need to figure out a wall mount since it’s so slim, but totally worth it.
The picture quality genuinely blew me away. Colors pop, blacks are actually deep black—not that weird gray I got used to on my old TV. Gaming is a huge step up thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, making fast action look silky smooth. No more blooming issues either, which was always annoying on the LCD.
I love how the built-in apps make everything easy, and the Samsung TV Plus channels are a cool bonus when I get bored of Netflix. Plus, watching HDR content now looks ridiculously good, especially since Netflix added HDR10+ support. It almost feels 3D at times; stuff on screen looks like I could just reach out and grab it.
Sound-wise, it syncs perfectly with my Samsung soundbar—way more immersive than I expected. Also, props to the solar-powered remote—no more hunting for batteries, thank God. I just wish they’d bring back the dedicated HDMI input button on the remote; that’s honestly my only complaint.
I seriously can’t imagine going back to a regular TV after this. If you’re on the fence, just go for it—you definitely won’t regret it.
