Cameras have surprisingly good definition. Image is very clear. Night vision is also very good with at least a 30' range. Easy to set-up and use. The "miniature joystick" feature on the monitor is a bit frustrating at first, but you get the hang of it quick. Monitor is plastic, but has a very clear, high quality display. Has a dizzying array of control buttons packed around its small frame, but again you quickly get use to them. Cameras are of solid metal with the exception of the motion sensor part. Even the mounting arms are metal--something hard to find anymore. I would not hesitate to buy this system again or to recommend it to a friend. An all around excellent system!
i bought this two weeks ago,it is everything i thought it would be.My camera is mounted about 125 ft. from the monitor, signal is great the back of the house is about 65 ft. from the camera to detect motion and does a great job only thing i wish i could do is have the picture to stay longer before switching to next camera but the split screen is great, just small picture
I called when my last defender protection got hit by lighting that day.Donna receive my call and told me my old system was deleted.she knew what I needed and know every answer to my question that I ask her.this system is the easiest system to set up.I am calling Donna back and buy another system for all my sheds.
Bought them to use as security for the front and back of our office. Very easy to install, I'm 70 and a technophobe and installed them with no problem.
We bought the PhoenixM2 with two cameras a few weeks ago, and were very happy with the install. The cameras came already paired with the monitor and it was essentially plug-and-play. As soon as we plugged everything in, the images appeared on the monitor. Very happy with this purchase, so far.
