Good but Outdated Technology

Bought this with an additional camera to replace our old, nearly identical, SVAT system for our exterior doors. This system has the same low definition as the one we had purchased nearly 10 years ago; all our other cameras use 5MP. The range has also not increased over the years, as we're still having a low signal for one of the locations. The push-to-talk button is still inconveniently located on the side of the unit, rather than on top or the front. The only thing that has changed is that this unit does not come with a remote; our old one had a remote, which was a very convenient feature.
For the price it is good enough as an additional unit, but not as a standalone.

I just purchased this unit and I am very happy. I plan on extending the unit up to 4 cameras soon. What is so special about it is that it does not have to be connected to the internet. That is what inspired me to get this unit. Great product. Good picture and sound.

If I need another scurity camera it will be a Defender.

Great System, Great Customer Support

I wanted a system that was easy to set up and easy to use without the internet. This fit the bill perfectly. I experienced a couple of problems with the product within a few months. This first was resolved with a firmware update. The second was an issue with one of the cameras. I sent the camera back and they immediately sent me a new replacement. Daniela and Customer Support were extremely easy to work with. They definitely stand by their product!
