Easy Setup!

I purchased this little Defender system to replace my very unreliable WIFI cameras. They only detected motion part of the time and were extremely slow to record the action. This Defender has it all and does it all!! I'm an 80 year old female and it was so simple to install - just plug it in, mount the cameras where you want them and you're done! I can easily unplug the monitor and carry it to the bedroom at night with out having to reset anything - just turn it back on. The night vision is sharp and clear as are the daylight color images.
There are a few cons though. First thing I looked for was a manual or an easy setup guide. There was none. I eventually did find the on-line user manual. When I was putting the screws in the holder for the camera, the head broke off one of the screws. Never, ever had that happen before. Lastly, the gray text that's above the buttons is extremely difficult to read. I made a strip with the names and taped them above the buttons.
Customer Service is great! I sent an email with a few questions and Melissa C. was very helpful and promptly answered my concerns. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Got the 2 camera's last week from amazon. So easy to set up. Have one over my Garage and the other one in my back yard. No problem with the signal. One in backyard the signal goes through 3 walls and the one at the garage goes through 2 walls to the receiver. I order one more for my daughter in Michigan.

Simple setup, easy to use, great range

Bought this after trying out some cloud version cameras and always needing internet. Then realized I dont need that fancy stuff and the pain of setup and support. This was out of the box and setup for testing in under 10 minutes. While I haven't mounted the camera yet, I just set them outside on the ground to test for a few hours. So easy to setup motion detection, recording, etc compared to the Internet based models that you can access from the web or your phone. For the many that dont need or want those options, this system is for you.

This system is so easy to install and use! The videos are incredibly high quality! By using an SD card reader, I can easily save the videos to my computer.

This system worked great out of the box. A power adapter failed after 4 months and Darrielle (their customer service) did everything possible to get me back up and running quickly. Wish they had other camera models to use with the system that were totally wireless.
