Purchased a couple of days ago, turned out to be an easy install and worked right out of the box, no problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this system. Even though I am not a "computer Person" I found it so easy to get it going. Camera is great for night vision. It was just what I was looking for.

This system is so easy to set up. All you have to do is place the camera and monitor where you want them to be, plug them in, and it's up and running. The picture is HD quality. Love the motion detection recording feature. There is also a very easy -to -understand user's guide online.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this out of curiosity and was surprised by quality. It was simple to set up and has excellent picture and sound is also very good. Once I got the complete instructions off the internet all remaining questions as to functions were answered.

have used this system a couple of days only down side is the monitor has to be pluged in to function an internal rechargeable battery would be great

This system is perfect for my apartment! My front door has no peep hole or window. The Defender Phoenix system allows me to see who is at my front door and to view my back deck. Not only that, I can speak to whoever is at the door so I don't have to open it to communicate.
