I already had a monitor and 4 cameras. I bought this to add to the mix. I love these cameras. As soon as I can get WiFi run in my Mom's home (waiting on the power company to run the fiber out her way) I will be changing over to your other product lines. But for now these are amazing and do the job. I am a customer for life. No worries.

Great Features

This began because I couldn't see the center portion of my drive way when people arrived. Now, I can not only see the driveway, I can see both front entrances to the house. Since the unit is wireless there were no cables to run between the camera and the console and installation took only minutes. As a bonus I can talk to anyone at my front door while sitting in my office. Since I have a second camera I'll install it on the rear of the house and have those entrances covered as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The picture is like trying to look through a glass of dirty water and the picture is delayed by at least 1.5 seconds with the camera only 10 feet from the monitor in a wide open room, and the intercom takes significantly longer. The range and connectivity are spotty at best. Unless you have direct light on the lens, it will stay in black and white the whole time. Which makes it completely useless considering you have to blind the camera to engage the regular color picture. Can't set motion detection individually as they claim you can. Would make a good toy for a 12-13 year old with too much time on their hands. It's been 7 months since my purchase, i've pretty much rendered it useless. I'd see a potential criminal in my bedroom face-to-face before anything registered on the monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Out Of Range

Bought the camera in the last two months and have had nothing but problems. I can literally place the camera antennae and receiver antennae inches from each other, still continuously "out of range" and have to unplug the camera. Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased it. You are warned, bad product. I notice as you proceed it asks if its about an extended warranty. The reviews here clearly show replacements are as likely to be out of range as the one you had. I also paid 30.00 US MORE than price listed here.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got the the wireless system a month ago and it is amazing! Right out of the box it was a breeze to set up and get the cameras up and running. The picture quality is brilliant. I love it and I feel secure knowing things are being monitored

Perfect system for my security needs

I bought and installed this system a few weeks back and I'm quite happy with the results. It was easy to install and set up, and has great features for whatever your needs are, Like motion recording and alerts. Thanks Defender for helping me secure what I hold dear and valuable.

Nice, simple package that plugs in and works

I've had it for two weeks and it is impressive. The audio is cooler than I thought it would be. It's great to hear people's conversations as they walk past the cams. The installation is very easy. I'd like two more cams so I can have one on each corner of the house. (Call me and let's make a deal!)
I have one suggestion to the buyer if you can do it: Install the camera where you can get a motion detection spot light, like at a door. You can see an example in the linked video. This improves the IR resolution and the system does a better job catching fast-moving objects at night, like foxes.
My problem is that I'm getting too many false positives on one of the cameras. I'm adjusting it every few days and it is improving. The wind can blow branches and bushes and set it off. I haven't tweaked the sensitivity setting yet.
All in all, I'm quite pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!
