great for isolated areas with no internet

Bought these a month ago, very easy to setup. Night vision is very sensitive to blowing and falling snow or furnace exhaust. A higher resolution would be great but overall a very compact easy to use system. I found the monitor menu easy to follow, the joy stick selector takes a bit of getting use to but works great once you figure it out. I am not sure if someone can hack into the system or not, maybe Defender can provide some information re how secure the system is from hackers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So easy and works awesome

Setting it up was easy. We placed one camera for the front door and one for the back door. Plugged everything in and it works great.
Videos are clear, even at night and the audio works great. In fact, you might want to turn the volume down a bit. The audio picks up every little sound. Birds singing, car engines, even my neighbors swimming in their pool across the street. I've been recommending them to everyone.

So far, so good but just got them up. Someone kept flashing a flashlight into our window at night, for 2 nights. Thought it was time to get some cameras up. And today caught a car coming down our driveway, our dog came out, it pulled out then sat at our mailbox for a while. But got it all on our new Security Cameras. I'm going to like these Defender Cameras.

Easy setup hands down, it picked up both cameras without any problem. I checked reviews and made my choice by them and I’m glad I did. Awesome colored and clear view. The 7 inch panel stand could be put anywhere in the house. I got the PHOENIXM22C with two cameras, one for the back door and one in the front of the garage facing the driveway. One thing you have to figure is where you want to drill your hole using a ½ drill bit through the wall for the cameras to be plugged up to power outlet.
The cords for the cameras are over 14 foot in length to be plug in an outlet. So you have to measure to your closes power outlet from where you drilled. Once you do that your home free the rest is easy. Just plug in your Defender panel and your cameras and the defender will pick them up, cam 1 and cam 2. Now from your email they send you the instructions in a PDF file for download. You have to have a PDF program to open it up. Once you read on how to fine tune your Defender with sound, you feel glad you bought the best.
