The cameras are sturdy and seem well made, and the wireless recording and monitoring function has impressive range. Unfortunately, falling snow sets off the motion detection, necessitating turning off the outdoor camera much of the time. Also, any power interruption shuts down the monitor, which must be manually turned back on... a problem for extended absences. I am still waiting for a tech support response on the snow question, which I submitted a couple of weeks back. Over all, a product that could easily be great, but has fallen short for us in real world use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works better than expected. I Bought this for old folks who hate technology, but wanted security for carport and front door. They were able to use with no problems. Just like it says super simple set up. Only real limitations is the length of the camera power cords, which need to be close enough to outlet for power without using an extension cord. The night vision worked excellent, cannot complain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phoenix cameras are doing great so far. Easy to install and aim. Great picture. Reminds me of old 1st Alert only better. Use wired cameras for area overview and these focus on one area after wired showed Intruder but not details, these do. Great addition.

love this set up. Needed a camera 50+ feet from house on garage where there is no Wi-Fi. Had been searching for two months when Defender popped up! Works perfectly, only using one camera at the moment, but crisp pictures, sounds is phenomenal even when turned down. I am a Big Fan now, thank you
