[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is essentially a "Goldilocks" device for drone pilots. It sits in that perfect sweet spot: larger than the base model for better visibility, but less cumbersome than the Ultra when mounted to a controller.
With the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip under the hood, this phone has moved past being "compatible" with DJI software and into the realm of being an absolute powerhouse for it.
The Display: Clarity in the Wild The first thing you’ll notice in the field is the 2,600-nit peak brightness. If you’ve ever tried to land a drone while squinting at a washed-out screen in midday sun, you’ll appreciate this. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel provides enough real estate to see your telemetry data clearly without needing a separate tablet.
Anti-Reflective Tech: While it lacks the Gorilla Armor of the Ultra, the S25+ screen still handles glare better than previous generations, making it easier to spot obstacles in your video feed.
Performance: Zero-Lag Feed The DJI Fly app (and the more intensive DJI Pilot 2) can be resource-heavy, especially when caching 4K video previews.
Smoothness: Thanks to the 12GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the frame rate on your live feed remains buttery smooth. The

A camera that's known to underwhelm
on April 13, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My honest experience with the recent Galaxy devices is not what I've come to know from Samsung. Devices since the Galaxy S23 feel less responsive. Image quality with the s25+ while using the rear camera setup is reminiscent of the previous iteration with lots of image blur, aggressive "Galaxy AI" features that tend to actually worsen these issues and no real way to solve this problem other than a promised software fix that generally doesn't solve the the problem. The camera on this device has definitely made me consider returning it and many others I know with one of the recent Samsung handsets share this opinion on degrading camera quality.

My S25+ Samsung phone review
on April 13, 2026
Posted by: VALKYRIE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is so much better than my older model Galaxy S phone. The Galaxy AI is a great feature, I honestly use it more than Google. The camera on this phone is amazing. I use it to take product photos for my small shop and they come out crisp, colorful, and without any distortion. I am very happy I upgraded and I can see myself using this phone for a very long time before upgrading.

Phone is slower than previous s22+.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GALAXY AI straight up sucks. Its data draw slows everything down and overuses the battery. The phone drops signal regularly in urban and suburban areas. This is my least favorite phone in a long list over time.

Best balanced phone
on April 18, 2026
Posted by: Best25Plus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is the perfect middle ground for anyone who wants a large, premium display and top-tier performance without the bulk or price tag of the Ultra.
Performance and Everyday Use
The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip makes everything from heavy multitasking to high-end gaming feel incredibly fluid. I use mine primarily for streaming and work, and the 6.7-inch QHD+ display is stunningly bright, making it easy to read even in direct sunlight. The 4,900 mAh battery easily lasts through a full day of heavy use, and the 45W fast charging is a lifesaver when I need a quick top-up before heading out.
Galaxy AI Features
The integration of Galaxy AI has genuinely changed how I use the phone daily.
Now Brief: This widget gives me a perfect summary of my day every morning. Note Assist: I use this constantly to summarize long work documents and YouTube videos into quick, readable bullet points. Circle to Search: This remains the most intuitive way to find information about anything on my screen instantly. Camera Quality
The camera setup is reliable and versatile. While it lacks the massive zoom of the Ultra, the 50MP main lens takes sharp, vibrant photos in almost any lighting. The AI-powered photo editing tools are also great for quickly removing distracting objects from the background of my shots.
Excellent battery life that rivals the Ultra. Beautiful, high-resolution 120Hz display. Practical and time-saving Galaxy AI.
