Really cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time having a smart bulb and now I think I'm hooked . It was surprisingly really easy to connect it to my alexa . After that changing the colors of the bulbs was really fun and cool! So many different colors and it definitely sets the mood as well . I need these all throughout my house now. I set this up in my bedroom as a amber / yellow and alexa set it to go off at 6am as a sunrise color. It's been great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup, Great Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my GE Smart Light and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I've got many different types of smart lights so I am familiar with setup of these types of devices. This one couldn't have been easier. Aside from the annoyance of having to download yet another smart app, GE made it super easy with Cync. I screwed in the bulb, turned on the switch, downloaded the app, created my account, clicked a button to search for a light, it found it instantly, gave it a name and room, then it checked for an update. It updated the bulb in a minute or two and then I was able to use the app. It's got some cool pre-sets like Volcano and Candlelight that preset the tone, but you can also adjust the color to any color you want, or brightness. Definitely a good vibrant color light.

Similar to other smart bulbs but half the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought my house, in 2018, I tried to get all of the lighting set up with high end smart bulbs. I ended up needing around 75 light bulbs to cover all of the rooms, common areas, and outdoor lights. When I started, I picked a major brand name and got around a thousand dollars in lights, but didn't buy every bulb I needed because that would have been closer to 5 grand. Over the last few years, the major brand I selected did not continue making the BR30 version of the bulbs I got, so I had to scrounge around to find refurbished or used bulbs.
I tried this bulb because it seems pretty similar and was less than half the cost. The free app was quick and easy to set up and get linked to the bulb. It has a wide array of any colors you could want and a spectrum of regular white bulbs ranging from warm to cool.
It also has preset effects that mimic candle light, fireworks, and a few other dynamic effects that were cool.

I haven't used it for long, so I can't comment on longevity or any issues between differing bulb networks, but there haven't been any issues so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bulb is so cool! It took all of about 5min to install and then setup everything on my phone. The color changing ability goes beyond my expectations! There is no lag time from when I change the color to my phone, for it to actually happen! It happens almost instantaneously! I can change the vibe/energy in any room with one click on my phone. I have one in each major room in my home!!
