Cool effects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup of this bulb was relatively simple although there are several layers to the app so there is a small learning curve. It's mainly because it's set up to handle a lot of devices so if you only have 1 bulb it would be overkill.
Color adjustment and modes are all really cool and fun. The best use would probably be as an ambient light casting some light on a wall or some focal point. I say that because light output isn't terribly bright so it won't compete well with other lights in a room.
Music mode actually uses some mic in the bulb. Thought it might link to an app but it doesn't so it will need to be on earshot of the music and will respond according to how well it "hears" the music. It mainly cycles through your chosen color scheme and flashes on the bass beats. Still neat, though.
Fun bulb to tinker with!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got one, but this would be so amazing to replace all the lights in a room with. The feature where it changes based on the current music playing is my favorite, and it works as you'd expect. Oh, the app is awesome - it works great (android) and it's really easy to customize your own light shows, etc.

Perfect for my computer room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t have very much light in my computer room so I wanted to install bulbs that would have a range of colors in general and be able to do many colors at the same time as well as being able to sync with the music. This bulb does all of that and more. It is also a super bright bulb in general lighting up my entire computer room with only 2 bulbs. I love how easily it connects with my Alexa. I can turn it on and off by saying “turn on computer room lights”. I can even change the colors by voice command although I like using the app to play around with the different color modes and settings. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a multicolor smart bulb that doesn’t require a hub.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently added Dynamic Effects lights in my reens gameroom and the have had so much fun with their friends! GE durability is a big selling point for us. The kids have synced them with their music and have neighborhood kids dance parties frequently! V ery cool product for all ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first wifi lightbulb - wasnt sure what I would do with it or where it would go, but I ended up using it in my bedroom to create different mood effects. Very easy to use, nothing to setup, and I have had no issues with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light has nice effects. Can be set to different colors through wifi. Adds an attractive look to any room. Doesn't draw very much electricity. Can be used In any standard light fixtures. Kids love to change the color.

We are typically the party throwers in our neighborhood so this was a great edition had alot of people mention they were going to be purchasing one as well! Great Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time having a smart bulb and now I think I'm hooked . It was surprisingly really easy to connect it to my alexa . After that changing the colors of the bulbs was really fun and cool! So many different colors and it definitely sets the mood as well . I need these all throughout my house now. I set this up in my bedroom as a amber / yellow and alexa set it to go off at 6am as a sunrise color. It's been great.
