[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good:
It's a Samsung Galaxy phone. Of course it's good. I came from a well-used S22 Ultra, so things are quite familiar. Most of the differences are software.
The cameras are quite nice.
The bad:
Some software changes are not great. The notifications are so large now that it is more difficult to find what I am looking for with persistent notifications.
A bug is affecting how my home screen functions, making me lose shortcuts.
Now Brief is neat, but doesn't integrate with the 3rd-party apps I am used to using, so I am unsure that I will keep it.
The ugly:
Samsung seems to have dropped the ball on innovation. The Z Fold has hidden its internal camera for a few years now. This phone still has it. While the upgraded 50MP 0.6x camera is nice, we still only have a 10MP 3X sensor, like what was on the S21 Ultra. While the 50MP 5X camera is likely more useful than the old 10MP one, I miss the 10X zoom which was fun to take pictures of airplanes with.
And I must address the S-Pen downgrade. This is not a cheap phone. I used my S22U's S-Pen mostly as a remote shutter. Without Bluetooth in the S-Pen, I don't have that option. It's disappointing.
So, in conclusion: I have problems with this phone, largely due to buggy software and questionable design choices, but it's still a really, really solid phone. I would have not purchased it had my S22 Ultra not been falling apart. If you are on an S21 or newer, it's probably best that you stick with your current phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great upgrade from my Note20 (which was still great).
I love the AI feature which allows easier capture of screen contents without the precision of the stylus.
The Now Brief keeps me up to date with the latest news.
The Audio Eraser is great to clear up audio and remove annoying background noises.
Apps load fast and I love the seamless actions across apps.
I am a hobbiest and love to tinker with tech. This phone will last me a couple of years for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The s25 ultra is blazing fast with surfing the web. I have not experience any issues with any of the apps that I use. I use the phone everyday to play music while I drive and have not had any issues with playing music through Bluetooth. Calls are clear and there are no issues with sending or receiving text messages. I am still learning how to use the integrated AI and I can see how it can be useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra builds on its predecessor with improved performance, refined design, and cutting-edge AI features. But is it truly an upgrade, or just another incremental improvement? Let’s dive into the details.

Processor: Exynos 2500 (Global) / Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (US)

Cameras:
Main: 200MP (f/1.7, OIS)
Ultra-Wide: 50MP (f/2.2)
Telephoto: 50MP (3x optical zoom, f/2.4)
Front: 12MP (f/2.2)
Battery: 5000mAh, 45W wired / 15W wireless charging
OS: One UI 6.5 (Android 15)
Build: Armor Aluminum, Gorilla Glass Victus 3, IP68 water resistance
Design & Display
Samsung continues its premium aesthetic with a sleek aluminum frame and matte glass back, making the S25ultra. feel both sturdy and stylish. The bezels are even slimmer, and the QHD+ AMOLED display is simply stunning—bright, colorful, and buttery smooth with its 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The in-display fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate.
The S25 ultra never lags. One UI 6.5 introduces enhanced AI features, like real-time call translation, AI-assisted photography, and better battery optimization.
The quad camera setup delivers excellent dynamic range and low-light shots.
My battery lasts all day and charges from zero in under a hour. In the future I would like to see 65 watt support. I also miss the S24 spen features as well as a return to SD cards and a ram upgrade would be nice
