I bought the 1tb model about 2 weeks ago and comparing it side-by-side to my S24 Ultra. As always, great form factor for Samsung. The first thing I noticed was the crisp display and ultra quick performance, (ha ha, forgive the pun). With that being said, compared to my S24 Ultra, I really isn't anything new. I salivated for a month waiting for this phone to become available and frankly, it is a let-down. It fees more rigid and is not as comfortable in my hand and even hurts to hold it. And since the S24 Ultra is going to get the One UI 7 update, it too will have AI soon. Part of my let-down is really focused on the fact that I hate AI, so I understand I might be biased. The new flat sides in my opinion fall short of those that are already included with another major competitor. Perhaps if Samsung had made them polished silver like that competitor, I might like it better. Simply put, if you never owned a Galaxy series ultra before then by all means make the jump. If you already own an S24 Ultra, don't waste your money! I actually like my S24 Ultra better.

Great phone but missing "flagship" features
on February 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great phone. I want to start there because it is, but there are three things that bug me and keep me from really liking this phone. The first is that the phone feels less substantial than previous iterations, it's more of a personal thing but it struck me as odd. The second is the loss of the curved edges, I may be in the minority here but i loved using those for silent notifications. The this is the loss of blue tooth for the pen, I used to use the phone to take really neat pictures but can't now.

Nice not Perfect
on February 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do appreciate that this phone is solid and doesn't feel cheap. There has been no issues or malfunctions and the camera works well.
The only reason why I gave 3 stars is simply because of the outdated software. The phone came with December patch however we are now in February. I've had the phone for 2 weeks and the official release date was 02/07/2025 - but still no software upgrades.
I work from home in a more advanced position that allows me to have teams on my phone. As a result of the software not being updated I am unable to access Teams which affects my ability to work.
Side note. The green isn't so green :(

Removing S-Pen functionality is Wrong
on February 18, 2025
Posted by: ZoltarSpeaks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the extra power, speed and anti-reflective / glare screen (compared to my S23 Ultra), it remains to be seen if I can will keep it due to the reduced S-pen functionality. On average I take over 15,000 photos a year and most were taken using the S-pen shutter button on my S23 Ultra. Most of these could not have been taken with the phone shutter button or my watch due to how I use the phone on an extender.
