As a dedicated Samsung mobile user for years, starting with the iconic Notes series and currently using the powerful S21 Ultra, I've witnessed the evolution of mobile technology. Although I don’t upgrade as frequently as many others, the advancements in this new model are striking. The integration of cutting-edge AI technologies enhances the camera capabilities, allowing for stunning photography, and the translation features are beneficial for navigating conversations in foreign languages. On the software side, One UI 7 introduces Now Brief, an AI-driven daily briefing that appears on your lock screen via the Now Bar. It learns your habits and routines to provide morning briefings, commute info, end-of-day recaps, and context-aware reminders—like subscription renewals—exactly when you need them. I love how seamlessly it integrates with both Samsung and third-party apps, letting me launch actions (like adding events to my calendar or controlling Spotify) directly from the lock screen.
Meanwhile, Live Notifications display real-time updates from selected apps without unlocking the phone—great for music controls or checking a timer at a glance. I do wish Now Brief worked across all regions, and that Live Notifications were universally supported by every app. Still, these features already transform my daily routine. Performance is blazing fast, and the camera excels in low light, capturing sharp images even at night. The battery comfortably lasts through busy days, and fast charging comes in clutch when you need a quick boost.
