Other notable AI features include improved photo editing capabilities, such as Generative Edit and Portrait Studio, as well as a more intelligent Now Brief and better search functionality within the phone's settings and Gallery app. Cameras The S25 Ultra maintains the impressive camera system of its predecessor. The key upgrade is a 50MP ultrawide lens, up from 12MP. This enhancement provides greater detail and vividness, especially in macro shots. The main 200MP camera and telephoto lenses continue to deliver excellent results, with improved processing leading to more accurate skin tones and better low-light performance. The addition of features like 10-bit HDR video recording by default and Log mode for professionals further enhances the S25 Ultra's video capabilities S Pen The integrated S Pen remains a key differentiator of the Ultra series, offering a range of functionalities for note-taking, drawing, and precise interactions. However, Samsung's decision to remove Bluetooth Low Energy support, which eliminates remote control features like acting as a camera shutter or media playback controls, has been a point of contention for some users. Battery The S25 Ultra houses a 5,000mAh battery, similar to the S24 Ultra, but the more efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite chip leads to improved battery life, with many users reporting over a full day of heavy use. Great phone, battery too small

I like the phone a lot, but Samsung is falling behind in the battery race. Their obsession with making thin phones leads to continuously inadequate batteries. I'll see what happens on the S26, but I think after 10 years I might give up on Samsung's superior software and jump to Oneplus because of their battery improvements.

It is everything I wanted, with the exception that the screen is not 2160, it is only 1440. In super fast mode it charges my entire day's usage in just a few minutes. The 1TB memory lets me put my entire music collection on the phone. I really like the built-in stylus. I do worry that the camera protrusions will cause long term wear issues from setting the phone down on various surfaces. Time will tell.

Galaxy S25 Ultra. An AI-Powered Daily Game-Changer
on June 14, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Galaxy S25 Ultra for weeks now, and it's completely changed how I approach my day. What really blows me away is how Galaxy AI just makes everything smarter. My photos look professionally edited without any effort thanks to that incredible 200MP camera and AI-powered enhancements. Night shots that would've been grainy on other phones come out crisp and vibrant.
As someone who's always juggling work and personal life, I love how DeX mode transforms my phone into a desktop experience when I need to get serious work done. The S Pen has become my go-to for quick notes during meetings - it feels so natural that I've stopped carrying a notebook. When it's time to unwind, that buttery 120Hz AMOLED display makes gaming and movie-watching absolutely immersive. I've noticed I don't even reach for my tablet anymore because the 4K HDR visuals are that good.
What's surprised me most is how the phone adapts to my routines. The AI battery optimization means I'm never scrambling for a charger, and Samsung Health has actually motivated me to move more with its personalized tracking. Little things like the ultra-wideband tech instantly locating my misplaced earbuds have saved me so much frustration.
After using countless smartphones over the years, the S25 Ultra stands out because it doesn't just keep up with my life - it enhances every part of it. From work to creativity to entertainment, this phone delivers in ways I didn't even know I needed.
It's decent. Not trying to complain, but I'm just a tad bummed. I miss a few features my s9 had (I used them frequently), most missed is the heart rate, o2 from the app using sensor in the back of the phone. I bought a gear 2 back when I got my s9 and I'm not a fan of touching my watch for it to light up or shaking my wrist (not at my job). The watches are HUGE/clunky (look like a man's watch except for color) , and plastic (can't wear plastic and sweat in the slightest, rash up the entire extremity into the shoulder the watch is on - all of my watches are metal). If the watches were thin and slender, women's timex style, so they didn't get get caught in things at work, maybe i could give it a try with putting a metal band in it. I get it though, that technology not able to be in something so thin. I guess I'm saying the s25 functions great, great battery life, great pictures, overall clarity on reading etc., all super (no issues that way), I just miss some functions the s9 had (my phone is my daily planner, heart rate/o2 checker, alarm etc eliminating the need for all of the extras to lug around). It was nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My S25 Ultra is the ultimate smart phone! This device has so many wonderful features from the exceptional camera interface to the integrated AI Assistant. My device has 512GB so I have a huge amount of storage space. The updated software helps five the device smooth transition from apps and gives the phone a clean sharp appearance. The option to changes your phone's theme has always been a important staple. Also the added features in messaging was a huge plus! Phone size and dimension are perfect for easy handling. I also enjoy my S Pen feature and it comes in handy for me when gaming on my phone. The picture and video quality are amazing and I often get compliments when people see see how clear and vivid my video and photos look when sharing with others. I have always been a Samsung fan and will continue to be. Keep up the great work!
