This product is not very good
on February 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is not very good for the high price it has.
I have been a Samsung user since the s3 and after the first Note came out I became a loyal user of that line.
I decided to change my s23 ultra hoping it was going to be a good decision but it was the opposite. The s25 ultra is a total disappointment I could safely say that my old cell phone is much better.
The headphones are a marvel. The sound is great, the noise cancellation, and the battery life is great. In short a good product.
The watch ultra aesthetically is great. I had a galaxy 6 classic of 47mm. In functionalities there is not much difference

Switching from fold 4
on February 18, 2025
Posted by: PhoneHome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall build quality feels very premium and all of the UI actions are very smooth. Speeds across pretty much any action seem greatly improved as well as improved battery life vs. yhe fold 4. I have encountered a few bugs in the software such as the camera frame rate dropping to ~10 when using the flash during videos as well as the settings pull down getting stuck on the screen but both were resolved by restarting the phone.
Apart from that I'm definitely missing the Bluetooth features on the S pen. My phone before the fold4 was a note 20 Ultra and I didn't realize how much I used the air actions until I was automatically trying to make an air "V" action which I bound on the note to instantly take a screenshot and open screenwriting on it. The AI features I would say are 90% of the way there. Sometimes I will ask gemini a question about where a restaurant is or what time something opens and it'll reply that it's only a LLM and doesn't have access to that kind of information.
The best face feature in photos has already been helpful for group photos and the audio eraser for videos definitely has potential. I've used the auto table maker from writing assist to quickly organize some vacation ideas into a spreadsheet which was pretty handy as well. When the AI feature work correctly they're actually pretty impressive.
Overall great hardware, mostly issue free software, and almost ready AI integrations.

Great features but a miss
on February 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The now brief is a fest feature that i routinely use and check on throughout the day. The audio eraser works great as well on my videos and the AI capabilities are unimaginable at this point. The ability for it to create my face without any prior evidence of it is astounding but also a little creepy. The one thing that brings my review down to a 4/5 stars, the lack of Bluetooth in the S pen. There was no reason to take it away and for that I have to remove a star. Hopefully it gets brought back in the future.

Powerhouse with one missed note

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Camera: The Star of the Show
Hands down, my favorite feature of the S25 Ultra is its camera. Samsung has once again raised the bar, delivering stunning image quality with its upgraded sensor and AI-enhanced processing. Whether it’s crisp daytime shots, ultra-clear zoom capabilities, or low-light photography that actually looks natural, this camera is an absolute joy to use. The 200MP sensor ensures breathtaking detail, and the improved periscope zoom makes capturing distant subjects effortless. If mobile photography is a priority, this phone is hard to beat.
S Pen: A Step Backward
However, my biggest disappointment is the removal of Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen. While the stylus still works for writing, sketching, and navigating the UI, losing the remote control features is a letdown. I used to love using it for taking hands-free photos, controlling presentations, and navigating media. Without Bluetooth, the S Pen feels like a step backward rather than an improvement.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is an incredible device, especially for those who love photography and top-tier performance. The loss of Bluetooth in the S Pen is frustrating, but it’s not a deal-breaker. If you can live without those remote functions, this phone remains one of the best on the market
.... also unsure if I like the uncurved design of the screen.

Missed The Mark

I bought the 1tb model about 2 weeks ago and comparing it side-by-side to my S24 Ultra. As always, great form factor for Samsung. The first thing I noticed was the crisp display and ultra quick performance, (ha ha, forgive the pun). With that being said, compared to my S24 Ultra, I really isn't anything new. I salivated for a month waiting for this phone to become available and frankly, it is a let-down. It fees more rigid and is not as comfortable in my hand and even hurts to hold it. And since the S24 Ultra is going to get the One UI 7 update, it too will have AI soon. Part of my let-down is really focused on the fact that I hate AI, so I understand I might be biased. The new flat sides in my opinion fall short of those that are already included with another major competitor. Perhaps if Samsung had made them polished silver like that competitor, I might like it better. Simply put, if you never owned a Galaxy series ultra before then by all means make the jump. If you already own an S24 Ultra, don't waste your money! I actually like my S24 Ultra better.
