A phone just like all the others, unfortunately

THEY FORCE YOU TO USE THE APP SCREEN IN VERTICAL MODE ALPHABETICALLY now not leaving an automatic sort function while viewing the app drawer horizontal. Trying to return to a horizontal app drawer means custom sort or you moving every single app where you want them. Lame that they changed that after a dozen yearsthe other way. The exact opposite of every Samsung before this. ALMOST ALL GOOD LOCK (HOME UP, NAV UP) DO NOT WORK so we can't fix the app drawer problem or customize away the forced nav bar hint as if we dont know where the bottom of the screen is. IVE HAD EVWRY RELEASE SINCE THE S2 EPIC 4G TOUCH AND THIS FEELS LIKE AN UPGRADE TO REMOVE FEATURES to mimic another cetain company device all the way down to the physical design of it. Feels good and snappy bit the one UI7 is not that great. Also assistant is what you want to use for your phone to actually do things for you the gemini ad thing is just an ad. Most of the time the gemini tells me he doesn't know how to do that yet (if I ask to open an app, for instance).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A big upgrade for me as a Note10+ User

Samsung has always been a reliable companion for me, after almost 7 years of Note10+ upgraded to S25u , that is a huge jump for me with S25u. Won't be needing to upgrade, fully satisfied until Samsung comes up with another next level Flagship in the coming years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Try another brand for 2 months and it was not a good option, I was eager for the new S25 Ultra to go on sale because the smartphone I had left a lot to be desired, the S25 Ultra is another level, at the time of loading the apps it took absolutely nothing, in photography there are many options to achieve the quality you need, the connectivity between Samsung devices is incredible, the whole interface is much more comfortable to play, work or even to watch videos or listen to music, I never leave Samsung again.

Smooth from the inside out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've experienced every Samsung Edge, Note, and Galaxy Series device that has existed. I will admit, I was pretty stuck on the S23 Ultra until now. The S25 Ultra is seriously effortless. Samsung finally got it right. The new feature, "Now Brief," is brilliant and exactly what is needed in a fast-paced world. With "Now Brief," I get a short but accurate summary of all important notifications without having to do the work myself. The camera is miles above the rest for someone like me who dabbles in photography. And don't get me started on the battery. I was so disappointed with battery life until now. I'm so accustomed to my battery being at 50% by 10:00 a.m. that I find myself plugging in my S25 and realizing it's only at 92%. Yes, it's night and day, to say the least. I could go on and on, but I won't. If you are considering the Galaxy S25, well, like Nike says, Just Do It!

Flat display panel - I love it.

I had a little buyer's remorse after ordering my new Galaxy S25 Ultra. Viewing some of the comparison reviews between the new release vs. my Galaxy S22 Ultra, I didn't see too much to get excited about. While there are plenty of new features on the S25 Ultra, there was nothing flashy or monumental about the upgrade. Nothing that I couldn't live without. It took about 3 hours to transfer 400+ GB of data from my old phone, but the process was easy and worked flawlessly.
Now that I have the new smartphone in-hand and my data transferred, I'm feeling considerably better about my purchase. I went with the 1TB of storage version. My old phone was maxing out storage. Now I have plenty of space. So that's a big plus. But I think the biggest improvement for me is simply the flat display screen on the S25 Ultra. The S22 Ultra had the significantly rounded edges and I was always launching something unintended as a result of accidental touches. This flat screen really works for me.
So while the new phone isn't a huge upgrade from my old phone -- most of what I do with my phone hasn't changed much. But I do like the new phone. It's subjective, I know, but it just feels good in the hand. I like the design and I'm sure that I will enjoy learning new features that I am unaware of. They gave me a good price for trading in my old phone - so, all-in-all - no regrets. I'm glad that I upgraded.
