It’s a fuse, it has the proprietary fittings to work with this wire setup. Not much you can say

The fuse holder is well made but I find it difficult to unplug it from the connector cables. The first time trying, the fuse holder came apart, exposing the hefty looking fuse. The other MC4 connectors from Renogy have been great. Hoping this one loosens up a bit.
