Easy install. Great instructions. Product works phenomenally. Only comment is on my trailer the joists did not line up. Had to buy some metal to get it to bolt up strong. I'd assume not every trailer is built the same. So this may fit some one else's joists perfectly. Not a negative in my opinion

Easy installation and works as intended.

I installed this 400 watt rated system two weeks ago. The panels are on the pilot house roof of my powerboat connected in series. I installed the supplied 10A fuse. The Rover MPPT charge controller is in the engine room. The system charges a 260 AH flooded lead acid battery bank. I also have a Renogy battery monitor.
The system is intended to allow full time operation of an undercounter refrigerator while the boat is on it’s mooring. The system is operating as intended. The battery monitor indicates 100% battery capacity by early afternoon even on fully overcast days.
I am very happy.

Such a great starter kit. Arrived perfect! Panels are doing great, actually pulled 415 watts on my rv yesterday with the panels angled at the correct degree to the south. Charge controller is awesome and all wires and hookups work great. Two things to note: the charge controller on the app will read out what the controller is converting at that moment for your batteries current needs. Can be confusing to think you’re only getting 2 amps when you have 79 volts and 200-300 watts - but it’s likely because your batteries are charged and it’s just sending all that is needed. Second, if you have a 5th wheel or longer trailer, the PV wires from the panels to the controller WILL NOT be long enough. I order 40ft and it was perfect. Prob about 6-8 ft left over. Wish that was an optional upgrade at checkout.

System arrived in good condition in just a few days after ordering. I am in the process of installing system. Components appear to be high quality. Renogy internet site seems to offer good technical help and support. I under stand the reason for not supplying instruction manual with panel kits but I would have preferred having a manual included with kit. Is am a beginner and it would make installation easier.
